Get some makeup that fits your skin tone. Or try Bare Escentuals or something that is just minerals. How to make makeup not noticiable?
You need to get different makeup. I had the same issue. Try to use like minerals and if you have to use liquid which I do, use a light one or go to Macys and have someone help match your face and they will reccomend the perfect makeup. And it may be a bit pricey but its worth it. Or if you cant afford the makeup at macys, ask for samples of what they reccomend and then match it something cheaper. :)
Match it with your skin, pick earthy tones like green or light brown for your eyes, and dont line you eyes too much, go heavy on the mascara but not too heavy to notice the clunk.
Use mineral or powder foundation instead of liquid or cream. For everything else such as eye shadow, blush, lip stick or gloss, find a lighter shade or apply a thin layer only. If you put on bright colors like blue or purple on you eyes, make sure to blend them with a tan or a skin color tone, so it will look much naturaler than extreme.
What do you use to apply your foundation? and what kind are you using? If you are using something like liquid and are using a sponge..its going to glop on more and look cakey...the best thing to use is big brush..almost like a paintbrush..this will give it a more even coat without it being all caked on..also, some peoples suggestion of a mineral make up may be good..what type of skin do you have? is it oily or dry? If its dry its not always best to go with a powder because it will just highlight the areas where the dead skin is peeling. But if your oily it would be better because it will absorb some of the oil and work better with your skin. Make sure the color is the color of your face..its best to match it to your jawline or right where your neck starts. If you find it hard to pick the right shade, you may have to buy two of which ever kind you buy, one that is just ever so too light and one that it just a bit darker and mix them...or keep looking at different companies until you find the perfect shade without buying multiple ones. If you are using a brush and liquid foundation, make sure you only use downward strokes so the hairs on your face don't stand up and become more noticeable.
hope that helps some.
