How to make makeup last longer?

At the end of the day my makeup seems to fade off!!

Is there any ingredients in the blush to make them last longer that i should look for?

Also I have oily skin and its fair. How do I bring out my paleness? How to make makeup last longer?
Im glad someone here knows about milk of magnesium.lol

Never use hair-spray. all it does is catch bacteria to stick to your face and clog your pores.

I use milk of magnesium. It can be used as a mask and as a primer to make make-up last long. Shake the bottle of magnesium and take a cotton ball with a little water and add some magnesium to the cotton ball. spread on your face and wait for a few so it dries up. if you see white spots on your face, don't worry just rub it. Once done, put your makeup on. if your face get a tad oily take a cotton ball and have green tea carried with you and just blot a little on your face. wait for a few seconds then take a big powder brush and dust very little loose powder on your face. Woolah. Done. How to make makeup last longer?
Smashbox has a great foundation primer called Photo Finish and it comes in an oil free variation.
Dont put as much on. Just a little bit. other then that there is nothing you can do.
Use an irredescent powder over your makeup,

that should help,

also you can buy long lasting make up now

from most brands =]

xo
I heard if you walk into a spritz of hair spray it keeps make up on. Though, I have never done it.
wear foundation, it lasts looooong time~~~ they have all kinds of shades (obviously) good luck!!!
Try Mabellyne Everfresh - That one stays on without fail.

Most of your medium to full coverage foundations in liquid will saty put if you dust them with powder to 'set' it.

Another tip, roll your foundation on with your fingers, pressing as you roll. This helps it stay put.
the secret to keeping makeup on ur face is to never take a shower
try to not touch your face during the day..

and at like, noon, reapply some make up.

i'd suggest using liquid foundation and then put powder over it.
If you are most worried about your blush staying try cheek stain. Don't be afraid of how dark they look in the bottle - they go on sheer. If you do decide to try cheek stain, dab some from the bottle on a makeup sponge and then quickly dab and rub on your cheeks. You may want to try this right before you shower for the first time - incase you make a mistake!!

It stays on all day and comes off on the shower.

As for the rest of your makeup, I always use loose no-color powder with a large makeup brush and dust it all over my face before makeup. If you notice your eyelids get 'greasy' then use an eye shadow brush to dust some in the creases.
I've read on a magazine that if you spray some cold water in your face and let it dry your make up will last longer, i have never tried it tho

but yeah the only way i could think of is buying long lasting make up
Primer will make it last longer

Milk of Magnesia is great so is Monistat anti chafing cream
Oily skin does tend to make your makeup FADE my the days end. Have you tried a mineral makeup and do you use a loose powder OVER your foundation after you apply it? THAT you can reapply a few times thru the day to touch up anad blot up oil which will extend your makeup day!

Lots if not ALL brands carry both. Mary Kay products, which are available at marykay.com have several very nice oil control products (oil control lotion and oil control blotters) you can check out on line and get samples from a local rep to try out lst %26amp; free too! They have several new mineral products too from eye color, cheek color, foundation, loose powder and more. I find their products to be really quality, reasonably priced and easy to get. A Mary Kay lady will come right to your HOUSE and all their products are natural and returnable if you aren't happy with them... I really like them.
Its a name brand but it is super awesome for setting makeup....... MAC Studio Fix +Spray.......... you just mist it on your face after you do your make up and it sets it and it lasts all day.. and the hairspray thing kinda works.. but basically all the studio fix it a glycerine and water mixture. glycerine basically seals water in your skin.. you can search this on youtube and it will show you how to make your own if you cant afford mac or simply cant find it............ just look for MAKE YOUR OWN STUDIO FIX
If you want your blush to last longer apply it after foundation and then a little bit more after powder. If you're talking about eye makeup use an eye primer, they work great. If you're talking about lips there's no product that works if you lick your lips alot. I've given up on lipstick for this very reason. Hope this helps.
