http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nJXK5EJE鈥?/a>

here's a tutorial on how to get large looking eyes. It seems wierd, but it works!!!How do you do your makeup to make your eyes look bigger?
only put eye liner on either the upper or lower lid, if your applying it to your lower lid make sure you don't apply it all the way to the corner, also try putting a little white eye shadow in the corner of your eyes.
white eyeliner

white eye shadow

lotsss of black mascara

fake eyelashes

good luck
use white eyeliner on waterline, shimmery white on inner corners and an eyelash curler makes your eyes bigger.
White shimmery eyeliner on the inner corners
well always wear a color that's opposite of your eye so do a rust or brown or burgundy

    How to wear makeup properly?

I normally wear creme to powder foundation with concealer and powder.

    It always looks all flaky?

I always use lots of moisturizer?

I don't put much on either.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanx

Analyze your skin to see what type of skin you have: oily, combination, normal, dry, etc. Many cosmetic counters have someone there that can do a preliminary analysis of your skin, and recommend some products. If you are on a budget, see what the professional at the cosmetic counter recommends, then go to your local drug store and find a similar product for way less money!

Start with a freshly-washed face (and hands, too). Get a facial, or do one yourself. You want your face to be a clear and smooth canvas for you, the ';artist,'; to do your art. Use a good deep-cleansing mask. Do not exfoliate if you have oily or sensitive skin. It will spread bacteria around your face from the already existing blemishes. Use antibacterial soap if you have acne. Also be sure that you replace the towel you use to dry your face every week. Lastly, apply toner by taking a cotton pad that has been dampened in warm water and sweep it over your face. Toner will restore the pH level of your skin and pick up any remaining dirt.

Massage a light moisturizer into your face no matter what type skin you have, avoiding the eye area! This will help oily skin dry, and dry skin become smoother. Wait a few minutes for it to soak into your skin. After letting it sit for a while, rinse face with warm water, and pat dry.

Apply a sheer foundation that matches your skin tone.

To find the right one, go to the makeup counter at a local department store and have the artist there help you.

Wear illuminator to make your skin appear youthful and dewy compared with dull, matte makeup. Skin illuminators come in powder, cream, mousse, etc. L'Or茅al, Revlon, Neutrogena, and other brands make them - it's like make up with tiny particles that reflect light.

Use a makeup sponge or wedge, starting around the hairline and working your way down. (Use the wedge for this routine because you can be more precise about where the make up goes.) If you want a proper look that looks as if it has been done by a professional makeup artist, try using a foundation brush.

Remember to apply the makeup all the way down to your throat area and keep blending so you can't see where the make up ends. Nothing is worse than looking like you have a mask on your face!

Around the eye area, do very light strokes inward, toward the inner corner of your eye. Don't apply it to your upper eyelid! All of the professional makeup artists say not to apply foundation to this area. This is why you need a foundation that matches your skin. If you want foundation to darken your skin then try putting it above your eyes, and see what you like. Be gentle with this part, because the skin is very delicate and sensitive here.

Remember to blend all the makeup into your hairline. (but not so that your hair is another color!)

Apply concealer to any red or discolored spots. In the corners of your eyes, where it's blue, and around the nostrils are good places for this. Do this after applying foundation, so you don't use too much (many makeup artists do this the other way around). First apply the concealer, then pat very lightly with your finger to blend. Only apply concealer to the area that you want to conceal. Afterwards, use the wedge to blend the concealer in with the foundation. Stand back away from your mirror to see if you have effectively concealed the areas. Try to stand about the distance away from the mirror that you stand away from people when you talk to them. Another way to conceal blemishes is to pat green concealer on the blemishes and red spots, then put foundation over top (the green reduces redness).

Apply a loose powder all over the face using a powder brush. Pat it into the powder; then, with a paper towel, tap the brush so the excess falls off the brush. Lightly brush across the whole face. Use a powder puff (small) to apply powder on the upper lid. Apply a bronzer to your forehead, cheeks, and chin, to give a sun-kissed look,if wanted.#If you don't have much cheekbones you can contour your face, to do so you will need a brown tone of powder, don't make it ultra brown, but a milk-chocolatey kind of color. Apply a it on the brush and apply it under your cheek bones, starting from the temple and going down until underneath the apple of your cheek. Don't make it too abvious as it's meant to look like a shadow, and voila! You have cheek bones!

Highlight your brow bone and cheek bones by applying a light powder just below the brow, and to the highest part of your cheek.

Apply a small amount of blush to the apples of your cheeks. Smile so you can see the apple of your cheek. Start the application at the apple and drag the blush outward toward your temple, following your cheek bone. Blend the color down a bit below your cheekbone in towards your earlobe.

If you added too much color to the brush, use the clear side of your wedge to blend it in more until the color is faded out a bit. Your cheeks should have a hint of color. You don't want to look like a clowHow to wear makeup properly?
If you have dry skin, powder foundation will look flaky.

But you did say you mouisturise alot ..

You may be putting too much on, leaving a layer of unnessacary mouisture on your skin, preventing the foundation from staying in contact with your skin.

Apply concealer or a skin balm before putting powder on to stop flaking %26amp;nd give it a smooth, matte look.

I suggest using a good liquid foundation, like Covergirl Smoothers, which is only $5 :)
I used to have this problem.

Now I moisturize just before putting my makeup on, and also at night after I take it off.

And for a while I used a hydrating lotion from sheseido aswell, before i put on the moisturizer.

Maybe also try using a liquid foundation instead of creme to powder foundation.
    Do you know Carmindy?

    She does make up or those on ';what not to wear';

She is amazing and even has her own book out to show girls how to do their make up properly and it only takes about 5 mins!

I recomend you go to youtube and search for her videos or google her.

    You willl find something

    Good luck!
To wear makeup properly , it needs to look natural .

Could someone tell me how to do a scene smoky makeup look?

I don't want anything that has eyeliner going all the way around the eye, like not on the inner corner, but can go around the outside corner. Nothing with bright bold colors, just like blackish or brownish with maybe a bit of color. Also something that pretty simple to do, that takes maybe five to ten minutes. Pictures would be rad! %26lt;3

I have a big event tonight. I want to look great but my makeup is limited. How do I look like grace kelly?

The makeup I have is a light ivory powder foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow of basically every color and berry colored lipstick. I don't know most of people at the event and the ones I do know I haven't seen for a while. Like I said I want to look like grace kelly but perhaps my expectations are too high.I have a big event tonight. I want to look great but my makeup is limited. How do I look like grace kelly?
Well, you'd pretty much have to have Grace Kelly's face if you want to look like her. You'd also have to have blond hair.I have a big event tonight. I want to look great but my makeup is limited. How do I look like grace kelly?
who is grace kelly and what's so nice about her? just be confident in yourself, do not try to imitate others, it would not make you beautiful. go to the party as you are and people will notice that you are there, not some girl whose trying to be someone else.
I don't really know you ..but going natural always works for me....A little brown eye shadow....
ok DONT put lipstick on your cheeks holy crap..... if you want to get nasty zits go right for it....... use a cheek stain..... or just plain blush...
go easy on the foundation but make sure you have coverage. If you have blush you need to put on spareingly and only to the tops of the cheeks apply it to your eyelids as well but just a hint of the color. Do you know what doe eyes are?. that is the use of liner across the top of the eye lid only and none on the bottoms of the lid. If you have a smokey eyeshadow thta will work with a brush and a scant amount of water.
Grace Kelly's look is easy to get, really.

    1. Apply three small dots of your lipstick (use the pad of your finger) to your cheekbones and blend very well.

    2. Apply your Ivory foundation with a powder puff.

    3. Sweep a light, matte shadow on lids and up to eyebrows (a light pinky-beige is best).

    4. Line only the top lids with either liquid liner or a heavy line of dark charcoal or black eyeshadow.

    5. Black mascara only on upper lashes, 2 coats.

    6. Line your lips with a light lip pencil, fill in with the same lip pencil, and brush Chapstick over it with a lipbrush.

    Have fun!
It's hard to find good color photos of her. Here's one:

    http://static.flickr.com/48/129050892_dd鈥?/a>

Her makeup looks simple: red lipstick (berry should be fine). Light color on the cheeks, simple eyes and heavier eyebrows.

For the eyes, I'd do this:

Choose a midtone shade for over the entire eye lid. Gently blend a darker color into the crease. Blend with a soft crease brush, using gentle strokes up and down so that the crease color fades seamlessly onto the brow bone and the lower lid. Use the midtone again on the lower lid and blend up into the crease. If you are feeling daring, choose a third, lighter color to highlight the brow bone. Blending is the key operation here. No heavy lines of color please.

No matter which type of liner you prefer, (liquid, pencil or even powder) get as close to the lashes as possible, staying on the outside of the eye... Keep this line of color subtle. Gently smudge it a little with the end of an eye shadow applicator or a brush for a softer, more natural look.

Apply your mascara last to avoid smudging it when applying your liner and shadow.

I'd apply the eyeliner a little heavier and just on the top lashes.

Have fun tonight! I'm sure you'll look beautiful!

What's also great is i used them and they cleared up my acne! How can i learn to do makeup professionally without having to spend thousands of dollars?
You know, many people go to school for makeup, but I believe that the best school is repetition. How, you say? Go get a job at a cosmetic counter, preferrably an artistry line, such as Trish McEvoy, Laura Mercier, Paula Dorf, or MAC. When you are working, you will get training, plus the opportunity to do up to 15 faces a day, while getting paid for it! Work as long as you like, and then begin to build a portfolio by doing test shoots with new models and photographers who are also building their portfolios. After a while, ween out of retail, and begin your own business doing weddings, fashion shows, photo shoots, and makeup lessons. Practice makes perfect!

Coastalscents.com has amazingly pigmented shadows and palettes for a huge bargain! Bobbi brown has a great albeit, expensive, concealer and foundation palette, but it's worth it, since it has EVERY color that the company has in foundations and concealers.

Slowly build up your brushes. The best and longest lasting are by Paula Dorf, Pauladorf.com

They have the most amazing quality, and last forever if you take proper care of them.

    Hi!

I had exactly the same question and my good friend told me about Avon opportunity. I became a representative and I got access to so many online tools and discounted items (up to 90% off the regular price, special deal for representatives only every day)!

I am now going through a free training and taking free online classes to become a Beauty Advisor which I access through my Avon web office online. I have learned so much already: skin care step by step for different ages, make up tips for different skin types, ages and coverage (light, medium, heavy) etc etc. If you like you can also try it. To join it only costs $10.

Try a little bit of Vaseline on a tissue or a baby wipe. Make sure you get all the Vaseline off your eyelids though, you don't want to wake up in the morning with your eyes all sticky.
Any oil at all. BUT you don't need that much, only use a little or you'll be in the bathroom for a while trying to get it off.
Soap and water? Then get a towel or paper napkin or something and wipe it away?

I heard somewhere that Vaseline works also. Maybe try that.

It would help if you knew some brands also that are good. How can i get my eye makeup to stay on and not fade away?
I love Bobbi Brown and Trish McEvoy. My favorite way to apply eyeliner is to dampen a small brush and smoosh it around on eyeshadow. (My favorite colors are dark brown and plum.) Then I use that as the eyeliner. When it dries it seems to stay on longer than pencils. That said, Benefits has this great big kohl pencil that I put on and smudge with a Q-tip.How can i get my eye makeup to stay on and not fade away?
artistry is a very good brand.
try different brands my mom uses covergirl and i use wet n wild
Put liquid foundation on and follow with powdered. I do that and it stays on until I take it off at night.
Well it depends what kind of eye make up

Mascarea--Just buy a long lasting one

Eyeshadow-- Before you buy it test it out on your hand rub it in see how long it takes to fade away... cream eyeshadows dont stay on for very long at all.. so try normal ones....brands and makees dont really matter!!

    Eyeliner-- water proof
Spray some hairspray lightly over your face when you've done your make-up
You need to use an eye primer under your eye makeup. It helps your makeup stay on longer and keep it's vibrant color. Mary Kay has a wonderful product called MK Signature Eye Primer. I love it!

You can check it out at www.marykay.com/akosmoore. If you would like a sample or two, you can send an email to akosmoore@marykay.com.

    Have fun and stay fabulous!
certian ones stay on longer than others
If your eyeshadow is disappearing try putting some foundation make up on first, this keeps it in place. There are lots of good brands that are not expensive, just stay away from the really cheap stuff.
Here are the brands I use that don't run:

    Rimmel Special Eyes

    Loreal Wear Infinite

    Avon Glimmersticks

    Avon Ultraluxury

Do NOT use Avon Colortrend. I sell Avon but those run like hell.
    Before you put on eyeshadow, on your eyelid, smear LITTLE bit of vaseline on your eyelid and that will help your eyeshadow stick on for a longer time. Make sure not to put too much or your eyes will look ';greasy';
loreal is a very good brand it neva wears off i always use it

How NOT to look funny with makeup?

I get REALLY tempted to try ';artistic'; makeup when I see MAC ads and all that but do people even really do that in real life? Any tips to not look horrible with makeup. How NOT to look funny with makeup?
    yeah i see that too.

i tried and it looks stupid. so i just try and go natural.

like if u have blue or green eyes use brown eyeliner.

    brown eyes use green eyeliner.

that helps and it makes ur eyes pop.How NOT to look funny with makeup?
omg, i used to have the same problem!

like, with eyeshadow, i would use the litle wand sponge applicator- dont use those!

i quickly learned that what you apply makeup with makes all the difference.

i started using brushes for my eyeshadow. it look amazing!

i think the mac brushes are expensive, so i just buy cheaper ones.

but anyways, try applying the makeup with brushes... and pick colors that look better with you skin tone. go to a mac store and have a worker help you =]
Yes! It takes a little practice though so get used to your mirror at home. What you get most artistic at is the eyeshadow. Most girls aren't sure how to blend the colors and make it looks so good.

Here's a step by step process. Take any two colors you prefer.

Step1Blend eye makeup only after you've applied all the eye shadow shades you want to wear. Apply all three eye shadow colors if you're planning to wear highlighter, midtone and accent colors. For the best effect, the highlighter color should be your lightest eye shadow color.

Step2Wait to apply eyeliner and mascara until after your eye shadow is blended; otherwise, you'll end up with a big mess to clean up.

Step3Use the brush you used to apply your accent color to blend your eye makeup so that you don't get your darker accent color on the brush you use for your other two lighter eye shadow colors.

Step4Buy a tapered blending brush for applying and blending eye makeup if your budget permits. You'll get a much better end result than if you use the small eye shadow brushes that accompany discount store makeup. Better yet, splurge on high-end eye makeup for the best application.

Step5 Move the makeup brush lightly across eyelids and under the eyebrows to blend eye shadow and remove any excess makeup.

How to stop spending money on makeup?

The money I spend on makeup, drugstore and department store, is getting out of hand. How do I stop myself from this obsession? How to stop spending money on makeup?
First make a commitment to only one brand, that helped me, make it a good brand too (I use and sell Mary Kay, so that's my brand) you could go for MAC, Clinique (I used them until I started Mary Kay), or something along those lines.

Then after you make that commitment, buy only what you need, I spent about $120.00 total on what I got from Mary Kay when I switched, and I use it almost every day, and only replace my items when I need to, and yes, I invest in my eye shadows too :)

Having a company where you need to go online and wait for the product to be shipped to you is a good idea too...

check my site out :) If you like anything click on the ';contact me'; button at the top of it, and I'll let you know about the Thanksgiving/Christmas sale that I've got going on :)

How to stop spending money on makeup?
I'm sure by now you have more than enough makeup.

Don't worry about continuously buying the newest product. Work with everything you currently own and keep trying different things with it.

ONLY purchase new makeup when it is absolutely necessary i.e. when you are completely out of a product. And by product, I do not mean you are out of one brand of mascara but still have seven others. Throw out whatever you refuse to use to prevent this and purchase only when you run out!
Well if you are into drugstore brands such as L'Oreal Paris, Rimmel London, or Almay a lot of times at walgreens they have buy one get one free offers or buy one get one half off offers. I like to buy when the sale is on, but only when I know I am going to use that brand still by the time my current makeup finishes. I made the mistake of buying L'Oreal true match liquid foundation as a buy one get one, but now I've stopped using it and use the bare naturale mineral foundation and have a bottle and a half of unused product. Does anyone know if walgreens will take back the unused bottle and exchange without a receipt?
You just need to find something you like. I used to be the same way - for years! I started using Bare Minerals about 2 years ago, and will never change again. I don't shop for any makeup now, just mascara and it's so nice not to spend all that money now!
i have the same problem..every two weeks im in mac buying things i do not need...i have loads of unworn make up...and i continue to go purchase more and more...it's very addicting..! i need help to!!! i feel like an addict waiting on my make up fix...i cant do with out it!!~
IDK i have the same obsession just ask yourself do i really need this and if you do then why not whats another fifty or a hundred dollars? rite
just get the mental ability to stop.

stop being weak and giving in to wanting CRAP, and just stop.
make sure you finished your product on hand and stop visiting drugstore and department store
force urself to stop buying makeup

dont go to those store's or around those sections were makeup are at all
um .... stop going to those stores!

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_ty鈥?/a>Can anyone give my insructions on how to do smokey eyed makeup?
Here are the steps for smokey eyes, but is hard with out a visual so I suggest finding a tutorial. Recommendation: the event makeup artist

    1) Put a neutral or bone colored shadow on the lid to start fresh

    2) choose your smokey shadow color, black, grey, dark blue..., and apply it to the outer corner of your eye lids. You only want the corner so your going to make an inverted ';V'; shape. The point should be on the outer corner of your lid and the two legs should fallow the crease between your eye ball and the brow bone. the second leg should fallow the lash line.

    3) Next you want to choose a lighter color to create some contrast on your eye. Apply the lighter color to the center of the eye lid. Be sure to blend well. You don't any obvious lines of distinction between the shadow colors.

    4) You can add some dark liner (or your shadow) in a thin line to the outer lid lash line for more intense dramatic look.

    5) take some shadow and apply a thin eye liner to the bottom lid. this is called a drop shadow. It shouldn't be too dark like a black eye, just enough to balance out the look.

    6) apply a brow bone highlight. A color along the bone under the eyebrow to add detail and depth to the eyes.
OK, start off with putting on your foundation etc. before hand, put a little bit on your whole eyelid, I recommend a powder foundation as it is much lighter than liquid foundation. Then, apply pencil eyeliner along your water line, try and do it in one straight motion. You'll need 3 colours of eyeshadow, shinyish white (better if its creamy not powder), grey and black. Lightly, apply the shiny white eyeshadow all over your eyelid, so it covers the whole surface of the eyelid. Get the grey eyeshadow and LIGHTLY apply only over the mobile part of the eyelid, this should be transparent so you can still see the shiny eyeshadow, then lightly blend into the white. Take the black eyeshadow and go from half-way across the mobile part of the eyelid and sweep outwards. Gently press the black eyeshadow along the side of the corner of the eyelid. Blend the black into the grey and the white into the black. Put on some liquid eyeliner (optional) and some black mascara to make it more dramatic!

    Hope this helps xxxx

If your more of a reading kind of person, this is how I personally create the smokey eye kind of look.

    1. Apply a primer, I like urban decays primer potion OR too faced shadow insurannce

    2. Apply a white base, I like NYX jumbo pencil in Milk

    3. Apply a shimmery white in the inner corner of your eye

    4. Apply a light grey next to that

    5. Apply a silver next to that

    6. Apply a dark grey at the end

    7. Above your crease, and on your lower lash line smudge some black

    8. Liquid liner on top lash line

    9. Pencil liner on bottom

    10. Mascara

Also, glitter liners will make it more night time like, or sparkly mascara, rhinestones too.

  • How to act cute, like japanese girls do. Or how to look cute, like makeup.?

Hmm, cute; as in bubbly, and innocent. Just cute to look at or be aorund. LOL. Like japanese girls, aww so kawaii. ^___________^ any suggestions on how to act cute? Either dressing it or acting it.

;________;How to act cute, like japanese girls do. Or how to look cute, like makeup.?
wow now im ashamed to be asianHow to act cute, like japanese girls do. Or how to look cute, like makeup.?
Do not try to imitate Asian girls. You will look like a poser and it will seem disrespectful. Try to find a few people who act the way you want to--be they real people, movie characters, book or TV characters, anyone. Write down a list of their traits (as in, they giggle when people mention sex, or they throw paper airplanes, anything like that). When you have a list of things, think about the ones that you can imitate. You can easily imitate things like covering your mouth with your hand when you giggle, twirling your hair around your fingers, (just some random examples).. but try not to imitate somehting that will make people say, ';hey, that white girl acts like a Japanese girl!'; Just try to be yourself, with maybe a bit of added affectations from the people you admire.
wow wtf? I think you should try to focus on what you already have rather than on worrying about things that you don't have. You should do something more productive with your life such as caring about thousands if not millions of children who are starving over in third world country and how you can make a world a better place for your generation.

besides what I have just said, I think it's just a part of our culture and how Asian people are raised and that's what makes them innocent and stuff. Not to be self centered, but I am told I am what you have just mentioned all above. Sometimes, people underestimate you when you act that way and that is something I dislike. Anyway, good luck on trying to be cute and bubbly.
Giggle a lot and act like your stupid. Also dress up in a mini skirt and high heeled boots. If you can find clothes that look like a sailor suit with a short skirt all the better to complete the image.

Tell they guys you meet you think they are very handsome and the most wonderful man you ever met. You'll soon have more boyfriends than you can handle.
well first if you want yourself to be seen as innocent then be innocent and don't try to be someone else just laugh when people say jokes and stuff and i think they wear eyeliner and like draw it out alot also on the sides of your eyes you can draw small hearts with eyeliner
you can smack on as much makeup and fake personality as you want, but if you're ugly, you're ugly
buy kawaii accessories and bags and dress up. here is a good source of kawaii stuff: http://www.modes4u.com
No offense, but when people try to act cute they end up

so so so so so annoying and fake. I hate it.
just act shy and stuff... that's what i wouldn't do cuz im tomboy..... i hate pink.

How to get asian eyes with makeup?

I havea sort of almond shaped eyes but i really want my eyes to appear asian because im in love with their eyeshape.

How i can i acheive this with makeup? How to get asian eyes with makeup?
I would definitely use a liquid eyeliner on your top lid.its really tricky to apply so set down a mirror on desk, rest your elbow on the desk to keep it steady and apply it very close to the lash line and for the asian flair, bring the eyeliner out further than your eye with a flick. Its so tricky but once u get used to it you will be a pro!How to get asian eyes with makeup?
I second what Chacha's answer states, but I would also get a black or very dark colored eye shadow and brush along the top of the liquid liner on your lid. This makes your eyes appear more naturally shaped, and not so fake looking with just a liquid line.Blend the dark shadow upwards so it gets lighter.
a lot of black makeup applied there, u can also get surgery done (not advised) but also use a lot of masscara and stuff

How to look great without no makeup on your face?

I really dont like the feel of makeup and would like to go without all the time but I feel a bit naked without it.How to look great without no makeup on your face?
try replacing your foundation with tinted moisturizer. and don't worry, every girl at least wears one makeup ';tool'; such as mascara or eyeliner or maybe even just bronzer. so you can still wear makup but if you want, you could try applying a light application of it!! I'm sure you look fine without it!How to look great without no makeup on your face?
Drink lots of water.. will make your skin look great, eat healthy and always smile!
A non-oil based face moisturizer can look good without makeup.
try covergirl trublend its in a compact you cant tell ur wearing it
    just be confident

the confidence hides the fact that you arent wearing any it is better to be natural i think it shows you dont need to rely on it and you are your own person dont conform to it...
Stop worrying. I'm sure you would look nice without it
I'm working that look today! I'm just wearing Dermalogica's Sheer Tint moisturiser with SPF15. Also put on the tiniest bit of mascara on for blacking them out a bit, just so it looks like I have eyelashes lol! x
    i have two suggestions;

*you can replace the makeup with a LIGHTWEIGHT FACIAL MOISTURIZER. it doesnt have to be ';tinted'; because many of those can cause you to breakout. the lotion provides your face with moisture, which will actually create a soft, natural, more even glowing appearance to your skin. it will look like you have either very natural makeup, or beautiful skin, but not cause you to feel like you're wearing makeup.

    good products are;

-Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer!!!! [great product! most people who've used it found skin improvements such as healthy glow, acne clearing, just plain beautiful skin]

-Biore Pore Minimizing Lightweight Moisturizer SPF 15

    -Shiseido Pureness Matifying Moisturizer Oil-Free

    -Origins Balanced Diet鈩?Lightweight Moisture Lotion

-Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

-Anthony Logistics All Purpose Facial Moisturizer

*don't wear concealer. replace it with a natural feeling foundation. while evening out your skintone and controling oils [shine], you wont even feel or look like you're wearing makeup. the only problem is, you have to find a good one. i know the answer to that too [i plan on being a cosmetologist].

    try [not pricey for the quality you get.];

    1. Clear Complexion Powder Makeup [about $8-13]

[controls oils, PREVENTS %26amp; CLEARS breakouts. extremely lightweight. put a little on first. it lasts a long time, so you wont have to frequently purchase more. because it lasts so long, you might want to buy additional sponges so when the one it comes with gets ';gross';, you can switch it. wont even out skintone so much, so you have to follow up with #2.]

    2. Almay pure blendsTM mineral makeup [about $8-13]

[put a QUICK brush on 2nd. its lightweight, wont cause you to breakout, evens out skintone, and you wont feel like you're wearing it. EASY application. the powder is inside the brush and releases during application. don't push the button on the other end after the first application, it will only cause loss of powder and you to need to purchase a newer one sooner.]

you can find both products at a drugstore, or a beauty store.

additional brands would be Physcian's Formula, or Bare Escentuals bareMinerals.
I look v. different without makeup - it's amazing how differently shopkeepers treat me when I do and don't have it on (i.e. with disdain when I'm not wearing it, and with high regard when I am.) I say don't ever start wearing it, and you won't have to see how horrid and judgemental some human beings are when it comes to looks.

Try a great mosturizer(i like cetaphil) some clear lipgloss and a little mascara(i like blackest black mabeyline great lash) I dont like makeup either so when im on the go this is my routine. :)
Try a tinted moisturizer and don't wear any foundation.

You can also try putting vasaline on your eye lids, cheecks and lips. Movie Stars used to do that back in the day.
Jus Wear Lipgloss And Mascara It Make The Hugest Diffrence :)
Wear a smile %26amp; a great hair do, let your inner beauty radiate out %26amp; you'll knck 'em dead babz

find a natural couloured blush that is just a little darker then your natural tone

    try maybelline

with hazel eyes try a light purple eye shadow but not too much then try to put on a thickening waterproof maskara and put alittle brown eye shadow along your lashes (top and bottem)

try a light lip gloss too

    hope it helps
Honey, you're just gonna end up looking fake and baked. And truthfully, no there is no way you can achieve ALL that with out layering on the makeup. Espeically since you want to hide your freckles and end up ';bronzed';. Embrace your natural beauty: go with a tinted moisturizer (one with a bit of shimmer), do a LIGHT dusting of a bronzer (apricot blush) over your cheeks and yes get one of those eye packages from ALMAY for hazel eyes. :)
for eyes: try some good mascara and eyeliner with shimmery gold or peach or bronze eye cream for the lid then highlight your brow

dont hide your freckles they're not that bad i too am pale and have lots of freckles and covering them up is not the way to go. try some peachy blush or rosy cheeck stain for a more natural look than going bronze which makes it obvoius your not naturally that tan and sometimes you can look orange which defeats the purpose of makeup. try focusing on your lips instead of bronzer.
    I have the same look!

I have hazel eyes, pale skin and freckeles.

    UGH! It's awful!

I find the best thing to do is use mineral makeup and use light colours on the eyes. I just try to go light on the makeup overall.

The mineral foundation covers freckles, yet it leaves it looking pretty natural, not packed on!

    Good luck!
I'd suggest checking out Almay's eye quads for hazel eyes. Then for your face- you could either use a Tinted Moisturizer with SPF (I like Sonia Kashuk's from Target) -or- use a light dusting of bronzer (similar to one from Physician's Formula or Everyday Minerals). Great products and not too hard on the purse. I don't like wearing too much makeup either and these products work great for me in the heat of summer.

    Good luck!
use black mascara. and the eye things from almay. for a bronzed look, get a powder bronzer, maybe something from cover girl , the true minerals bronzer. but why would you want to hide your freckles, the only way that would look okay is if you hid them all over your body(which would take a lot of makeup) you could try this foundation from almay called nearly naked. its sheer but covers all the imperfections.

    good luck =]

How to apply max factors pancake makeup?

I'm not quite sure how to apply this. I can't seem to get the amount of water right. If I dont' have enough water it doesn't go on right but if I try more water it just seems to smudge around. Is there a trick to it? Thank you.How to apply max factors pancake makeup?
Not sure... I wouldn't buy anything too complicated like that. I use Clinique foundation in the New Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15 and it's sooo totally fabilicious! =)

Is it a good foundation? Like is it a powder or cream? Click add. details and let me know!!!

    ADD.

    Thx for letting me know...

I would say the more water you add the better just because if you don't add enough and it's kind of ';pastey,'; it would look all caked up on your face and if it was more of a liquid it would look more smooth and probably work better.. experiment yourself at home! =)

How to do asian person eye makeup?

only wer it on the bottom and wear just shadow and mscara on topHow to do asian person eye makeup?
liquid eyeliner or an extremely sharp pencil?

i'm sure the people at sephora can help you. they are amazing! xD
apply a WHITE eyeliner and skin highlighter around the eyes with some LIGHT LIGHT gray/white eyeshadow and mascara , that is what my asin friend emma does and it makes her eyes look bigger!!!!! GOOD LUCK!
Personally, I think applying liner to both bottom and top makes eyes look smaller anyway. From what you said ';looks like a raccoon'; it sounds as though she is doing this, so I suggest she only apply liner to the top lid and not the bottom. Keep the line thickest to the outside of the lid and maybe extend it just slightly...not too far from where the lid ends. So line the eye starting at the outside corner to the inside. Let up on the pressure so that the line stops just above or slightly past the pupil of the eye, but the line should gradually get thinner as you get to the pupil. Keep the lighter color eye shadow toward the inside corner of the lids. With a small brush using a darker shade of shadow create a crease and blend it well with the lighter shadow. Keep the mascara only to the lashes on the outside corner of the eyes. Use mascara on the bottom lashes only if you really can't see the bottom lashes from farther away. I also have smaller eyes and this helps me. I get plenty of compliments on my ';big'; eyes when I use these techniques. I suggest she practice putting the makeup on. If you want to use liquid liner I suggest the L'oreal liner in the gold tube. This never smears. Keep away from the Almay liquid liner as this does smear. The L'oreal is easy to use because it has a felt applicator like a marker versus a brush which I always found more difficult to use. Also try to blend a lighter color at the top of the lid under the eyebrow to create a highlight. Have fun playing with makeup and good luck.
i use liquid eyeliner to do the job and mascara.

put liquid eyeliner/ eyeliner top of the eye (dont put it bottom of the eye cause it makes the eye look smaller than it is) and add more to the top corner. then add a touch of mascara.
Heehee I am SK too! :) The general shape of my eyes aren't small, but my eyelashes are thin. I can't put on eye makeup (I don't anyway) because my eyelashes are really delicate. Go to the Lancome counter in the mall or some other makeup specialist...they can help! :)
i think a really sharp pencil would work great but be careful~hope u guys best of luck :]

How to get eye makeup off without it all getting in my eyes?

I really like eye make up and have been wearing it for a long while but every night when i remove it lots of eye liner and makeup remover get in my eye and i hate it. how can i take off my makeup without that happening? How to get eye makeup off without it all getting in my eyes?
Sometimes getting it in your eyes is unavoidable, especially if you wear eyeliner in the waterline of your eye, or if you use a bunch of mascara. What I recommend doing is putting a generous amount of eye make up remover on a cotton round and pressing it against your eye while its closed for about 15 seconds. Once the eyemake up has saturated in make up remover, wipe downward, don't rub it, just keep wiping it from brow to cheek until make up is fully gone. If you have some make up in your waterline still, use qtips. Don't use any more remover on qtips, there should be enough on your eyes left from the cotton round.

I hope that helped :)How to get eye makeup off without it all getting in my eyes?
i like putting petroleum jelly on my eyelashes to get the mascara off and then using a tissue and wiping it across my closed eye and that gets most of it off. i use that same technique for eyeliner and for mascara that rubs off onto the bottom of my eye. hope this helps!!! : )
Neutrogena makes eye makeup remover called ultra-soft eye makeup remover pads. they r in a lil circular blue bottle and they are amazing and dont burn at all.
Try some Vaseline petroleum jelly. It works great for heavy eye makeup.
    buy the make-up remover.
there is a product called L'Bri that won't sting if you get it in your eyes. it makes cleaning make up off a lot easier!
use one of those ear cleaning thingys--swaps--is that what their called?!?!

In health class we are going over eating disorders and are going to do a play/skit on the results of anorexia and bulimia. How should I apply makeup to make my self look anorexic? ?
Apply a solid color of foundation over your skin. No blush or color, which would add ';life.'; Instead, take a bronzer, and apply it right under your cheekbones to creat the illusion of hollow cheeks. Also put some around your eyes: underneath to emphasize dark circles, and on the eyelid and crease to make your eyes look sunken. And pale lips. How should I apply makeup to make my self look anorexic? ?
look skinny by what you wear: wear skinny jeans to make legs look long and skinny, make cheeks and eys black so it looks like your face doesnt have much meat on your bones. and wear really white make-up and straighten hair.

also have a white shirt with markers draw food then have a big red circle with a slash through it to look like you hate food!
1 make yourself look really pale: wear light colored foundation

2 emphasize your cheekbones with some blush: make it look like your are so skinny that the bones on your face are sticking out

3 put some purple eyeshadow underneath your eyes to make you look sick
OMG you totally scared me I thought you were like serious but really dark eyes, try to emphasise the cheek bones to make your face look skinny. Try to make your teeth look yellow by using dark lipstick. That should work:)
A lot of dark brown make up around the eyes to make them look tired and, make the skin look flaky and pale.

  • I need to figure out how to find the focal length of a makeup mirror. How can i do this?

    1. shine a light at the mirror

    2. go to a wall and move the mirror closer and farther away from the wall til the light is focused into a dot

    3. measure the length from the mirror to the wall

    It's that simple

PS please pick me as best answerI need to figure out how to find the focal length of a makeup mirror. How can i do this?
The light has to be as far from the mirror as possible. So use the Sun , focus its image to form the smallest possible point ( be careful this might start burning your screen)

The distance form the point image of the centre of the mirror is the focal length of the mirror.

    1/f = 1/u + 1/v

f is the distance you want, u is the object distance which is effectively infinity if you use the Sun as your object, and v is the distance of the image from the mirror.

If u is very large, 1/u becomes zero

    so 1/f = 0 + 1/v which can only be true if f = v

    Easy , eh?

How do you get your makeup to last all day?

I'm currently using Dior foundation, and I love it because it actually matches my skin (this has been a major problem for me). However, it doesn't last all day. If I don't have time to reapply, towards the end of the day (around dinnertime), my face looks like I'm no longer wearing make-up. How do you get your foundation to last all day? (or do you?)How do you get your makeup to last all day?
    I feel your pain!

I have found a whole make-up line that when used together will last all day. I always had to do touch-ups before but now I don't have to unless I want to go out in the evening and even then it still looks pretty good.

If you would like more info, please email me at saintshar@hotmail.com. This is also a high-end product. How do you get your makeup to last all day?
put on a good oil free sheer moisturizer before you apply your foundation
    lay it on THICK.
an oil free moisturizer undr you makeup
well go and find some long lasting makeup

more then likely u will have 2 get some expensive kind or what u can do is where a mostuirizer under ur makeup cuz that makes it last bout 4 hrs. longer
    two words- bear minerals
you should apply loose powder ove your cover up and use a moisturizer before putting anything on
i think keep putting on makeup every hour i think it stays. :-) :-D
U can use a primer before the foundation. If need be, get the powder type with ur matching skin tone and touch-up during the day.
Set it with a light dusting of loose powder you put it on. Try to keep your hands away from your face too.
    dont mess with ur face
i found urban decay eye shadow primer to be a god sent, just apply it before doing your eye makeup %26amp; ur set for the day %26amp; i'd pretty much say the night too, it lasts till you wipe ur makeup off, a frind of mine gaveme a bottle of it for christmas last year, a little goes a long way %26amp; i love it. as far as if u need stuff for ur entire face.. umm sry idk ..
try getting a primer it will make your foundation last longer, if your skin is oily get MAC blot powder for touch up's during the day but this has hardly no coverage just soaks up oily, MAC set powder to set the foundation the right way or a compact of foundation u can take anywhere for touchups.
I use powder about 3-4 times during the day which helps my foundation stay put. I like any MAC loose powders and Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil.
Get some very light translucent loose powder and a very nice full makeup brush and top off your foundation with that - the mineral makeup ';veils'; are great for that.

It will truly last much longer and you won't shine up with it.
try mineral makeup and how to apply...

After you apply the makeup, hold a can of hairspray about 2 feet from your face (or get someone else to help) and LIGHTLY spray over the entire face.

How should i do my makeup to go with my pale yellow prom dress?

i have greenish blue eyes, ivory skin and dark brown hair. i either want to play up my eyes (not exacty smokey because it would contrast way to much with the dress) or play up the lips, but what should i do? colors would be helpful too.How should i do my makeup to go with my pale yellow prom dress?
since the dress is yellow, i suggest matching your eye makeup to your shoes.

    play up the eyes.

just do a sparkle and natural colors with diffrent tones in there.

and dont play up the lips, it wont last.

just like pink lip gloss and youll be good to go.

i suggest for pale yellow. golds light white.

    and do a powerful lash.

    that would look killer.

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hier鈥?/a>

^that would look good, maybe not the pink just all natural since your dress is such a diffrent shade on its ownHow should i do my makeup to go with my pale yellow prom dress?
If you keep your eyes a more natural shade, then add a touch of sparkly to the browbone, it looks phenomenal. Play a little - it is prom!- but don't overdo it. Go with a soft, fresh look, with either coral or light pink lips and glaze that with a shiny clear gloss. If your dress is a pale yellow, stay away from dark colors and black, it will make you look confused. Instead, you can try varying shades of coral, browns, or other earthtones and that will really bring out your eyes. Use Brown mascara and eyeliner, or just use the mascara. Remember, keep it more natural, or else you won't get anyone to even notice the dress.
I think you should apply a pale/ light gold e/s all over your lids and add in some greens to match your eyes. Like a lime green e/s on the middle of your lid and then dark green on the outer corner. After blend the e/s together so it gives a nice effect like shading form yellow to green. And finish it with eyeliner on your waterline or wherever you like it and mascara.

For the lips I think you should apply a rosey pink lipgloss or a light pink lipgloss (Mac has the best lipglosses!). And lastly I think you should apply a roesy blush on the apples of your cheeks to give you that doll look, but just a sheer amount. Hope that helps! :)
I'm always a fan of playing up the eyes but like you said I wouldn't go to smokey. I did a girls makeup last year for prom and she had a pale yellow dress and I just used natural colors with some gold undertones, just in some deeper hues and put some fake lashes just on the outside corners and just used a pretty gloss for her lips I think she looked beautiful. Just an idea!!! Good luck and have fun!!!
I think that for your eye color you really want to play up your eyes. a red lipstick may look nice too...I would suggest a line of eyeliner above the eyelid and just a tiny tiny bit on the lower part of your eye....a creamy glittery, nude colored shadow is also a GREAT way to make you eye color stand out...I wear it everyday...If you want to play up the lips some good colors would be red, peach, or dark pink. Also, blush puts a good amount of attention to your eyes....but not too much!
ok use a a gold shimmer(light) and black eyeliner and mascara. For the lips use a pretty pink (not 2 light) and blush. Watch how 2 lose a guy in 10 days. She wore her makeup like this in a yellow dress and she looks beautiful!!
bronzer on your skin is a must.. but nothing too red in color otherwise it won't match the rest of your skin.. use brown hues in your eye lid crease... looser gold shimmer should be applied generously to your upper cheek bones and brow lines.. liquid black eye liner with a lot of mascara..
yeah k-lee and lola both gave an awesome option. But If u want ur eyes to look brighter use shades of pink, or even green ( golden shimmer on the browbones would look awesome with green shadow) !! :)

i've gone to so many concerts trying to look all pretty in case you get to meet the bands, but after jumping around getting crushed by 500 people you just end up sweaty and gross and your makeup will run.

so don't do it too heavily, and make sure you wear waterproof eyeliner/mascara.

    and damn, you're lucky.

i wanted to go see them so bad but i have no ride :(

rise against is amazing, as well as the others.

if you have water proof mascara thats a start so try investing in some water proof eye liner too i wouldnt really bother putting any eyeshadow on since itll probably just smear

How should i do my makeup if i am going to be catwoman for Halloween?

I am going to be the OLD style cat woman. With the little mask on her eyes, i am going to have pushed up hair with cat ears, and i am wearing a cape with the tail attached, and all of it is going to be black!!! I NEED TO KNOW WHAT COLOR TO PAONT MY NAILS %26amp; HOW I SHOULD PUT THE MAKEUP ON MY FACEHow should i do my makeup if i am going to be catwoman for Halloween?
You should really define your eyes with black eyeliner, a little blush and your nails should be black to complement the costume. You all set to go girl! How should i do my makeup if i am going to be catwoman for Halloween?
    smokey eyes.
you should have smoky eyes ....... they look really cute especially if you want a sultry and sassy look also ware a dark wine lip stick but don't put on a lot just put a little on than smear with your finger

...... also add some black fake nails
you can use a grey eye shadow if you want,(or just a highlighter all over your eyelid%26amp;till the crease up. but use thick black liquid liner and make a cat eye look with them. Use a voluminzing and lengthening or lenthening and thickening mascara for a more dramatic look. use red lipstick or gloss and red nails. your blush can be a light pink or light brown color.
    smokey eyes and red lipstick
Black nails, black eyeliner, red lipstick, and a pale color makeup.
your nails should be long and any color. wear your makeup DARK!!
use black eye liner, dark red lipstick, black for nails, and also dark eye shadow (it will look nice on u if u have light blue eyes)

    good luck
You should use dark eye shadow to highlight your eyes. Use glossy red/wine color on your lips. You can use any dark shade, like blackish red, purple or pure black nail polish. You should try some makeup on your cheeks as well, may be light pink blush-on. Would you like to try a nice chocker to hug your neck, may be a red one? It will add red with your full black dress and also resemble cat. Then it won鈥檛 be a problem to add red on your make-up.
Since your outfit is black, painting your nails black will look good on your body, since it will stand out and tell everyone that you are a die hard Catwoman.

Now with your makeup, you should print out a picture online and have a friend do your makeup like the picture. That way, there will be no mistake in thinking ';am I Catwoman like enough?'

Recently, I went to a party, and one of my buddies looked just like ';Tribal Captain Jack Sparrow.'; With all the eyes and stuff. His roomate did the same thing that I am recommending to you, and it really fooled me!
Smokey eyes, black. Cat eyes eyeliner. Blood red lipstick and nails. Over extend you lip liner to make your lips full.

Who wants to know how to remove makeup without useing special creame?

I don't use a cream to remove my makeup. I use a liquid remover, the non-oily kind, on a cotton pad. A little goes a long way. I swipe over my eyes first then face. I then wash my face with my cleanser. It keeps my skin cleaner than if I just wash my face and helps my skin look healthier. It also doesn't leave a heavy residue on my skin. I highly suggest using a remover. There are several out there. Go to your local mall and start testing them out on your hand so you get a feel for it. Asking a sales person for their thoughts works great as well.Who wants to know how to remove makeup without useing special creame?

  • Makeup: How to make green eyes super noticable?

My eyes are very green but I don't know how to make them more noticable. What color eyeshadow or how i should wear it. Have any ideas?

me: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2rdxg1g%26amp;s=3Makeup: How to make green eyes super noticable?
Purple is amazing with green eyes. The contrast is remarkably pretty!Makeup: How to make green eyes super noticable?
Green eyes really pop when you use purple eyeshadows because purple is a contrasting color to green. Natural colors also look good with green eyes, and gold looks good with any eye color. You could also try a purple eyeliner. You could use a neutral eyeshadow and purple eyeliner and your eyes will look very green. I have green eyes too, and I do that all the time. Black eyeliner works well too, but sometimes I put on a purple liquid liner, and it looks really nice. Hope this is helpful!
Browns are the way to go with a fine black eyeliner to make those gorgeous green eyes pop! Brown is the complimentary to green (as in so many of the beautiful trees around!) Because the eye area is the most delicate area of the face %26amp; also the first to show aging, take great care when applying cosmetics in these areas. Use excellent tools (think of your skin as a rubber band if you tug on it over %26amp; over (ie crappy brushes used for daily eyeshadow application) eventually it will lose elasticity %26amp; show aging. So use a great eyeshadow brush to apply beautiful mochas, taupes, a vast variety of browns out there! For daytime apply one color all over your lid, you can use a lighter color right below your brow for accent. Next use an angle brush to apply a contrast color in the crease of your eye for extra depth, you can also add a copper or gold dot for accent right above the center of your iris. Follow with eye liner to complete an evening look. Be sure to pay attention to what you are putting on your eyes %26amp; face, many cosmetics are actually damaging to your skin. This is one area you do not want to skimp on! At the Body Shop at Home we carry an incredible black eyeliner, it goes on like a liquid but has control like a fine sharpie marker, you would love it! Perfect for everybody who wants control while creating a dramatic look for their eyes. For an intense evening look apply liner to lower lid also. The latest hollywood trend is to apply black liquid eye liner at the edge of the upper lid, then add a fine line of eye shimmer to the liner while wet. This really frames your eyes incredibly %26amp; creates a fabulous look for your face!
wow great eyes for sure ;)..\just try bold colors in eye shadows and eye liner for sure !

also use blue mascara instead of black because it will make your eyes stand out like you want them to !

also dont use green or the same color as your eyes because the colors will ';mix'; and your eyes wont be as great as now..and i dont think this is sth you want!:P

    ;D
I would try brown eye shadow. To make them stand out then you need to go with a strong contrasting color that is not too bold and crazy but that draws attention to your eye color.

You could go to a make up counter at a department store and tell them what you are after. They will do up your eyes. It doesn't cost anything unless you buy something.
Create a smoky eye by putting on black eyeliner on your top and bottom lid darkly but very thinly. the key is to blend, blend, blend! Also, you may want to wear a nude lip or something very light on your lips to make all the focus on you gorgeous green eyes! hope this helps!
use black eyeliner on top and the bottom of your eyes, not on the lid though.. and also use a shimmery eye powder with the blackest black mascara i have green eyes and i tried it once and it really works well..really elegant for a nite out or a casual day
Green eyes look beautiful with any eyeshadow.. Try purple! this will be a great contrast... Most likely going with a green eyeshadow, and black eyeliner will pop out those beauties!! lol.. but yes Almay does have the specific line for colored eyes.. I use their liquid eyeliner and I love it!
These Almay products are designed specifically for different eye colors. Here's the link to stuff for green eyes:

    http://www.almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyesl…
Start off with a great eyeliner, like Almay or Revlon Colorstay. Then, try some beautiful earth-toned eyeshadows. Check out L'Oreal's color palettes (the four colors in one pack). They will make your lovely eye color really pop out.
try almay eye shadow set for green eyes... comes with eyeliner, eyeshaadow and mascara perfect for green eyes.. and the colors are brown shades. so try dark brown eyeliner
purple hued eyeliner or eyeshadow. upload your pic to www.taaz.com to experiment with makeup and how to make ur eyes more noticable. u can also see what you would look like with diff hair colors.
Golds, bronzes, browns, taupes look awesome on green eyes.

You should wear eyeliner. That makes ur eyes look larger and bigger and pretty. :)

Im 15 and I want to use makeup how can I tell my mom and sister ?

just start using a minimum amount of it as in starting out by using some lip gloss, and blush. and then gradually move onto the other stuff like foundation and mascara and the whole idea, gradually they will get used to ur ';new'; looks and get the idea that you want to use makeup, dont start out by buying everything you think is good for you and put it all on at once for the first time in front of them, they will get a little freaked out, so start out by using a few ';makeup'; essentials for them to notice it and then move onto to other things. and make sure you research and compare products and brands before you buy them, most of the makeup products i have dont work as they say they do on websites and stuff, so my tip for you is to look carefully at the products and ask your sister or friends for help deciding colors or on what products they think will suite you the best.

good luck letting your sister and mom know. and best wishes to you to finding good, useful products.Im 15 and I want to use makeup how can I tell my mom and sister ?
sister and mom i want to wear makeupIm 15 and I want to use makeup how can I tell my mom and sister ?
Tell your mom that you would like to try some makeup, just some naturals colors nothing bright. Like some blush and lipgloss.
Say you want to experiment with makeup a little bit. Make it clear you don't want to go overboard, you just want to enhance your natural features. Mascara and a good lipgloss is really all you need. I'm 21 and that's what I mostly use.. sometimes a pretty eyeshadow, but less is more. I enhance myself rather than caking it on and looking like a clown or like i'm trying way too hard.
just say that you think that you are old enough to use make-up and not over do it. they should understand...i mean u are a young adult now. good luck.
Is your mom conservative? If she is, she might have a problem adjusting to her 15 yr ols wearing make-up so soon.

Is your sister older than you? If she is, I don't think make-up will be such an issue to her.

I suggest that the next time you and your mom go malling, ask nicely if she can buy you pressed powder and lip gloss. That is a nice, ';tame'; start to make-up. Don't go loco at first, let her adjust to you and your make-up.

Once she's okay with that, slowly ease eye make-up, blush, lipstick etc into your routine
i just had the same problem next time you go to the store look in the makeup Ill and jut show your mom %26amp; then buy it.
Well...just say...I want to wear make up. It's not that hard, make up isn't a ';bad'; thing.

But honey you have A LOT of catching up to do in terms of how to do make up properly since you're 15 and you're JUST starting to wear it. Most of my friends have been wearing it at least since they were 13...including me. My suggestion would be to go to a make up counter in a department store and show you how to apply everything properly and find your perfect foundation colour, etc.
next time you go to the store with them, pick some stuff up. It doesn't necessarily have to be expensive, but just let them know you want some. They shouldnt have a problem with it either, because after all, you are 15, and quite old enough for it.
well... I'm 12 and i wear make up. i just said,'' mommy, since I'm becoming a 'young lady,' i would really like to start wearing some light make-up. i know i cant wear eye-liner, but i want to wear shadow, blush, and a little mascara.'' she said yes! but some advice: wear light and natural tones... you wouldn't want to look like a drag queen... would you?

    good luck!!
say someting like u no im grown up now so i should wear makeup
When I was 15, I told my mom that a lot of the girls in school were wearing make up now. I asked her if she could take me to our local department store to pick some up. I think that she was surprised by my asking her, but she was defiantly glad that I felt comfortable enough to ask her for help. And to be honest she knew, as well as I did, that I had no idea what I was doing!
    ';Mom, I wanna wear makeup. Please buy me some. I feel ugly [even if you don't]. All the girls at school do, and I just wanna fit in.'; {add tears}
I had this same problem. My mom is pretty disconnected, she doesn't understand beauty at all. So when me and my friend were shopping, she told me what eye liner she used and I decided to buy it in a shade that would look good with my green eyes. My mom noticed i was wearing some and she bought me some for christmas recently. Maybe she will just understand once you start wearing it.

How to do makeup for ASIAN girls?

im asian and i look weird when i try on makeup the european way

so have anytips to do makeup on asian girls?

like my eyes arent fit for the eye shadow and stuff

and also how do u find the right concealer

like which brand is best? How to do makeup for ASIAN girls?
    Here are some tips:

    1. I love it when asians do the whole smoky eye and smudge dark shadow. It'll make your eyes look bigger and wider. Black is to hard, so go for a pale Heather gray. Also, if you line your eyes with white liner pencil, it will make your eyes bigger and give it the wide awake look.

    2. To find a good concealer, go to Sephora and try them on your hand. If you find one that reacts to your skin well, and matches your skin tone, buy it. I highly recommend MAC concealer. If it's too pricey, CoverGirl works okay. How to do makeup for ASIAN girls?
You should try wearing eyeliner! I hate wearing eye shadow!! A little bit of blush looks good.

If you are looking for the right concealer, look for the one that is close to your skin color. I don't wear concealers b/c my skin is clear. sorry i dk any brands.
Iam Asian and I dont look good in make-up. powder, blush and lipgloss are the only 3 things that look good on me.

I agree with the person who answered first, wear eyeliner , mascara and a yellow-based powder/foundation if you have darker skin. Blush - not too pink

I tried Shisedo products, their UV powder foundation is REALLY good, it covers well and doesnt build up, I used that product when I was in college. if you're living in the US its really hard to find a shiseido brand try Clinique its a good product too-hypoallergenic.
I'm asian too and I usually wear eyeliner
idk, i am asian too, and i rarely use make-up. but when i do, a little blush, but NEVER EVER use eyeshadow! it makes you look weird....you can experiment too

You can also go to a counter, like others suggested. It's their job, that's what they get paid for, so don't feel like you need to buy from them. If you want to, that's fine. If you have a MAC near you, call ahead and schedule an appointment. Tell them you are new to makeup and would like some tips, maybe ask if they can do your face or let you watch them do some makeovers? The girls at my mac counter are super nice, so I know they would let me. Hope that helps!Tips on how to do my eye makeup?
the currrent (september) issue of seventeen had a good page about colors, for blue eyes it was...

    lid-bronze (ex- e.l.f. mineral eyeshadow in sassy, 3$, eyeslipsface.com)

crease- brown (christian sirano for VS silky eye shadow in roalty, 14$ victoriassecret.com)

lashline- choclate (sephora brand nano eyeliner chocolate, 5, sephora.com)

so browns look realy good, i thought theyed look not so good make them bland but after looking at the picture, it realy looks amazing!
apply eye shadow first, I like the kind that has three different shades, light creamish color, grey or brown, then dark brown or dark grey. hightlight the ball of your eye and the inner arch of your eye brow and inner corner of your eye with a light color. put a medium shade over the crease of your eye, and the darkest on the outer corner. then blend well

then use black liquid eye liner to line your eyes, the closer to the inner corner the thinnest and the closer to the outer corner the thicker. and use a black pencil eye liner to to line the bottom of your eye to about half way threw and dont forget your waterline half way down, thickest toward the outer corner. Useing a blue pencil liner on your water line can make your eye color pop out more.

curl your lashes if your comfortable with it and apply mascara on both sides of your top lashes in a twisting upward motion. and apply a small amount or mascquara on the bottom outer lashes.

Use conceler to cover up any dark circles under the eyes.

and always improtant, if your wearing heavy eye make up, you want to wear lighter lipstick.
well first to make your eyes look bigger and brighter apply white liner to the eniter bottom. and with shadow for blue eyes you can pul of any colors.

use a mascara that has ';light reflectors'; which you can buy from covergirl for your blue eyes ( they also have liner and shadow that works best for blue eyes-but still line the bottom with white first it makes your eyes look bigger)

    hope some of this helps!:)
perfect i know exactly what to do:

take a typical white khol eyeliner and apply it to your waterline.

and then if you want buy a white pigment eyeshadow ( like Vanilla Pigment from MAC) and apply to your tear duct.

you might also like winging your black eyeshadow to make your eyes bigger.

and gold orangish tan colors look great on blue eyes.
apply navy blue eyeliner to the outer corners of your eyes on top and bottom but make it thin. put very light goldish eye shadow (a somewhat similar color to your skin color) along your BOTTOM lash line and the inner corner of your eyes. put that same shadow on your lids. use a lengthening mascara and curl your lashes lightly after applying it.
    go to covergirl.com

Is there any makeup range for men? How to get rid of my dark circles?

Do I need both concealer and foundation? Is there any special tip on how to apply? Is there any makeup range for men? How to get rid of my dark circles?
Most make up brands sell a type of concealer for under the eyes - it needs to be yellow to counteract the dark circles. I use one by no. 7 boots, especially for dark circles. I apply with my fingers - no need for foundation aswell. I also bought from L'Oreal a cream for dark circles, I can't remember what its called but it has a red cream in one side and white the other - after 2 days my eyes already look better! Is there any makeup range for men? How to get rid of my dark circles?

I would just get a facial highlighting pen. Then you won't have to worry about covering your entire face, plus it's lightweight. You would want to get your skin tone matched up with it though, so that it's not too light. Good Luck!
NO make up is especially for women, anyone can use it. I would recommend you buy a No7 radiant conceler for 拢11. Put it under your eyes and it works wonders!
There are plenty of mens ranges out there like clinique and nivea who do good anti puff eye creams and intensive treatments, that work well at instant tighting n lightening effects. Iv used these products occasionly n they are ok, but the key iss always loadsa sleep n ddrinking loadsa water and making sure your diet has all the right fruit n veg. There is no instant miracal cure it takes ages to reduce but its better to do the above then just try to cover it.
makeup is not only for women!! i know many people who use concealer to hide their dark circles...we all wanna look good after all!! :)

i think the best thing for you is to try any concealer (1 shade lighter than you natural color) and apply it gently with the tip on your index (not thumb!!)

you can use any women concealer...doesn't have to be for men only!!

about founadtion- no need to put foundation under the eyes...if the circles still show after you apply the concealer, try using a redish eyes shadow bedore you apply the concealer to contrast the blue of the circles!

    have fun!!!
Sorry I don't mean to be rude, but I am not attracted to men who wear make-up. I mean men are men, they're not meant to be beautiful, I like men rough, tough %26amp; like a man!

But if you still want to wear make-up, I think anything that's made for women applies for men also!

I don't know of any make specifically for men but my boyfriend has used my undereye concealer a few times - it's a Maybeline one that's fantastic! Other than that, I'd have to recommend lots of sleep and water as the best thing. If you're in the UK, Boots Organics make a great 'First Signs Of Aging' eye cream that has worked wonders for me, also, Clinique make a great cream that you put on a night to reduce dark circles.
Drinking lots of water will help :)
You don't need makeup pet. Get an eyecream that reduces puffiness and dark circles. Have a few early night, lack of sleep causes dark circles, drink hot water with a slice of lemon 4-5 times a day this detoxes. Here are a few good ones for you. Anew by Avon, clinical eye lift and is used under the eyes and on the eyelids. You could also get Likisma Cucumber eye gel that is applied in the same way. You could even try fresh cucumber cut in circles and placed over eyes for 10mins every day. Stay away from the makeup you don't need it.
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:

Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Any concealer would be fine for you to use as long as blended in well. If you don't want to look as though you wear make-up, why not try some cream to help get rid of your dark circles rather than just hide them.

Loreal and Avon do eye cream especially for men to combat dark circles. Drink loads of water and apply the cream twice a day. In 2 weeks your dark circles will have disappeared and you wont have to look like a girl in the process!
It could be an indication of iron deficiency. Someone on this board said hemorrhoid cream works well on puffy eyes.
drink loadsa water and i also found that if you put used teabags over your eyes for a few minutes it helps too, get a good night sleep to help ya aswell.......
why not use womens make up ? anusal pile cream gets rid of bags under eyes
to get rid of dark circles put spoons that have been in the freezer under your eyes
Hi you can get mens eye cream in the make Nivea so this might help. You can use a concelar but this dosent always work either. I now use Boots No7 range of the stay perfect foundation in new ivory its brilliant for covering dark circles, its expensive thought but it blends in welll and is not as noticable as actual concelar. What I would do is get this product in the colour to go with your skin colour and then get a powder compact, I would recommend Boots Naturals Shine control one, and then blend over the foundation under the eyes and then you should be ok ans dark circles covered.

Also take some vitamins and get some good sleep.
