How can i learn to do makeup professionally without having to spend thousands of dollars?

I love the art of makeup, how can I learn the techniques, and where can I get the stuff for my artist kit cheaply? How can i learn to do makeup professionally without having to spend thousands of dollars?
bare minerals! everything there is so professional looking, and not that expensive. Plus with everything you buy there always comes a guide on how to use that product with different techniques and what products you can combine to achieve a certain look. I would definitly reccomend these products! A member of my family is on camera a lot because she is in the television buisiness and she never has to spend much money because she looks so great with just her bare minerals products! What's also great is i used them and they cleared up my acne! How can i learn to do makeup professionally without having to spend thousands of dollars?
You know, many people go to school for makeup, but I believe that the best school is repetition. How, you say? Go get a job at a cosmetic counter, preferrably an artistry line, such as Trish McEvoy, Laura Mercier, Paula Dorf, or MAC. When you are working, you will get training, plus the opportunity to do up to 15 faces a day, while getting paid for it! Work as long as you like, and then begin to build a portfolio by doing test shoots with new models and photographers who are also building their portfolios. After a while, ween out of retail, and begin your own business doing weddings, fashion shows, photo shoots, and makeup lessons. Practice makes perfect!

Coastalscents.com has amazingly pigmented shadows and palettes for a huge bargain! Bobbi brown has a great albeit, expensive, concealer and foundation palette, but it's worth it, since it has EVERY color that the company has in foundations and concealers.

Slowly build up your brushes. The best and longest lasting are by Paula Dorf, Pauladorf.com

They have the most amazing quality, and last forever if you take proper care of them.
u should google Dinair Airbrush Makeup and look up their class dates...its a two day every affordable course. i started using their makeup a few years ago and when i started i went to the class to better understand it...its awesome! they teach u tons and tons of stuff! Hi!

I had exactly the same question and my good friend told me about Avon opportunity. I became a representative and I got access to so many online tools and discounted items (up to 90% off the regular price, special deal for representatives only every day)!

I am now going through a free training and taking free online classes to become a Beauty Advisor which I access through my Avon web office online. I have learned so much already: skin care step by step for different ages, make up tips for different skin types, ages and coverage (light, medium, heavy) etc etc. If you like you can also try it. To join it only costs $10.

See www.OnlyAvon.com for more information.
ebay sells name brand make up for a little cheaper then what you would buy them at the regular store.

look up make up tutorial videos on like you tube or even google it and you'll learn some for sure! =)
