How should I do my makeup to make my eyes look bigger?

My eyes are kind of small and I want to make them look bigger. I have dark brown eyes and dark lashes. How should I do my makeup to create the look of larger eyes and what colors should I use? Please, nice answers only! Thanks!How should I do my makeup to make my eyes look bigger?

First, cut two slices of cucumber, put it on a small plate, and leave it in the refrigerator. Cold cucumbers, when put on closed eyelids, soothes eyes making them seem wide open.


Now, you will need to wash your face with moisturizing face wash. Don't rub hard on the eyes. Pat dry to avoid redness, puffiness, and wrinkles in the future.


Pull out the cucumbers from the fridge and put them on your eyes for at least 5 or 10 minutes.


Throw away your cucumbers after the time is up, and get your makeup supplies ready.


After you put on concealer, foundation, and bronzer, you are ready to begin your steps.


With a eyeshadow brush, put some brown powdered eyeshadow and run in over your eyelids. this will give your eyes light.


After that step, pull out your black eyeliner. Put it on the bottom of the eye. Make the line thicker towards the outside and very thin towards the inside. Do not put eyeliner around the entire eye.


Put on a light color of eye shadow. Lighter colors make your eyes look larger.


Now for the final touch, black mascara. Take an eyelash curler and curl your eyelashes. Swipe mascara twice on your upper eyelashes and once on your lower.

Eyeliner should be different on everybody, because everybody has different eye types. To make eyes larger, follow a few key tips:





1. never line the inner rims





2. start by lining the upper, outside lash line, and make the line thick. make sure it blends inward so that you don't leave a gap between your lashes and the liner.





3. don't cover your eye lids with dark makeup.





4. use a mascara that works for you. if you have short lashes, use lash blast for thick volume. if you have long lashes, use loreal telescopic in carbon black (it's darkest) if you have in-between lashes, use anything you want.





5. eyelashes are the most important part to make eyes bigger. find a needle or a pin, (very carefully) separate each lash. audrey hepburn used this technique.





6. you should avoid making your liner too smudgy. if you make it large and too dark, then your eyes will have the appearance of being sunken into your head, making them look smaller.





7. Get a nice gold or silver eyeshadow, i would use gold, and very, very, thinly, apply it to the center of your eyelid.





8. don't put eyeliner on the bottom of your eyes, but do use mascara.

I've messed around with a bunch of different styles to try to make mine look bigger. Whenever you apply liner, try to avoid doing it on your bottom lid. It makes your lash line look closer towards your eye if you do that. If you still want to use liner, apply it going from the outside and stop halfway instead of lining your whole lid. If you have dark lashes, a natural colored brown mascara would help compliment your eye color. Also, brighter colors of eye shadow are definitely a must. They make your eye color pop even more. Just don't go overboard and end up looking silly. :)

If you have pale skin/blue eyes use brown liner


If you have brown eyes use black


If you have green use purple (plumb)





and line the outer part of your top lid.





Then take a white shimmer and dab the inner crease of your eyes.





Apply mascara. Curl lashes and apply eye shadow and voila.





*do not put eyeliner on your bottom lid..just mascara
First of all, if you have bushy eyebrows tweeze or wax. they definitely dont help make your eyes look any bigger. but with the makeup and such. different shades of eyeshadow work for different eye colors, brown if you have blue eyes, purple for green eyes, and pretty much anything for brown. mascara and eyeliner are a big help too.

get a white eyeliner and put it in the inner corners of your eyes and use a highlighter on your upper eyelid to make the whole eye look brighter
Well i have tried using black liquid eye liner around my lash line and under my eye and it sorta pops out and makes your eyes looks bigger
