Use concealer to cover up blemishes and whatnot and use light colors like browns and tans and a little bit of mascara. How can I use makeup to improve my looks while keeping it looking very natural?
Anything creamy, dewy, but not shimmery will make your skin GLOW in a natural looking way.
Quick tips to look like you rolled out of bed p-e-r-f-e-c-t:
-conceal dark undereye circles with a concealer 2-3 shades lighter than your cheek color
-blend a little concealer down the center of the nose to slenderize and camo any redness
-use a creamy bronzer the same shade as your skin to add a luminescent glow to cheekbones, forehead, center of eyelids, and chin
-use a volumizing mascara in brown, or soft black that DOESNT CLUMP...clumps give away that fact that you're wearing mascara in the first place. You want them to look thick, not thickened.
-matte lipcolor in creamy shades (pale pink, creamy mocha, soft plum) with a clear, high gloss top coat add dimension, and a natural-sexy appeal to finish the lookHow can I use makeup to improve my looks while keeping it looking very natural?
Don't use a lot of anything, and use natural colors like tans and browns. don't use anything to bright!
Wear eyeshadow that is close to your skin, light eyeliner, not too much that people can tell you're wearing it.
Don't use eyeliner, that's not a natural look to me. If you need to touch up your eyebrows with mascara, do so, lightly. If you want to use eye shadow, use it very sparingly. If you use blush, again, do it very sparingly. Many guys like the natural/near natural look. I think it's more appealing to them.
Bare Minerals makeup my dear!!!
A little mascara or eyeshadow!
Beauty is about looking like yourself but looking distinctly different.
Go to an average department store (I think most Macy's have one) and go to the cosmetics department. I'm sure you know that they have different counters for different makeup lines, like Lancome and stuff like that. Go to the ';Perscriptives'; counter and talk to the professional who works there and explain. This is an excellent line that specializes in makeup that compliments your natural skin tones, face shape, etc. They really helped me, and I hope they can help you too!
A lot of good tips here already. I agree than when in a hurry and keeping it natural, a bit of lip gloss and mascara are key. However, if you want to wear more makeup and look/feel natural then the type of makeup is important. I'd seriously suggest trying mineral makeup. Bare Escentuals has been popular for a long time and now drug store brands are carrying mineral lines as well. There's a small company called Everyday Minerals that will send you some samples for free to see if mineral makeup is right for you.
If you have dark circlez unda ya eyez, use conceala. B sure to use foundashun, n use sum eye liner, n jus a bit of mascara. To make yur make up look more natural, b sure to use shadez of lipstick, etc that are only a few shadez darker than your natural colour.
Match your natural coloring and apply very lightly. Pick out you best feature, like your eyes, and gently emphasize it. A smile is the best makeup there is.
use concealer to cover up blotches, next apply liquid concealer on your 'ring' finger and lightly and gently rub it along your bottom eye area (starting from your inner eye corner by your nose and outward ending at the other side of yor eye) next lightly apply foundation if you really need it followed by translucent powder now depending on what your best feature is if its eyes stick to neutral colors-light browns- and sparingly apply, if you have brown eyes try some thing with gold again sparingly, as the gold works wonders with brown eyes, no eye liner and mascara, now if its your lips then apply a neautral/nude lip liner that matches doesnt have to be exact but close enough work to your own lipcolor and line them, after you line them, use a q tip or your finger to smudge the lipliner onto your lips, remember to stay inside your lipline or you'll look like a clown, after you can either A use a clear lip gloss over or B use a pale pink lip lip gloss ( I'm a sucker for covergirl lipslicks in starlet) and the clear gloss is optional after that, try it out seehow it looks and no matter which advise you choose always when possible apply your makeup in 'natural' light, it makes a big difference and how many people see your make up in your bathroom light, good luck and hope this helps !
Use a shimmery gold on the lids and a light brown in the crease. Apply a couple layers of mascara and some natural pink looking blush. Dont over do it but keep it simple. Blend the eye shadown together with your finger so it doesnt look to harsh.
