Does anyone know how to find makeup brush ratings?

I have heard there is a system for rating the quality of makeup brushes based on how they are made and which materials are used. Do you know where I can find a comparison chart or learn how to tell on my own?Does anyone know how to find makeup brush ratings?
The most important thing to look for in good makeup brushes is that they are made from all natural hairs. Synthetic brushes do not apply makeup in the same way and they tend to fall apart much faster, and don't clean up well at all. Any packaging for the brushes should tell you whether it's 'natural' or 'synthetic'. If it's synthetic, keep looking...if it's natural, and the price range is acceptable, pick it up. That will be a good buy and will last you for years!

If you're at a store where you can touch them (as opposed to buying online, etc), you can feel the difference in synthetic and natural brushes. Synthetic will feel more like a plastic coating is over them and natural will feel as soft as the hair on your head (assuming there's no gel or mousse, etc on your hair! LOL)

Hope this helps!Does anyone know how to find makeup brush ratings?
I normally go to www.makeupalley.com for any cosmetic/beauty related comparison. Check there or go to the actual websites of the companies who sell the brushes, they should post what materials are used. The best brushes out there, IMO, are Kevyn Aucoin.
