My eyes are already big actually, in round shape and they're light brown. How should I wear my makeups to make my eyes appear bigger? I've tried lining both of my top and bottom lids but somehow it makes my eye shrink =/ I'm not really good with makeups so any tips would be highly appreciated!
Thanks :)How can I wear my makeup to make my eyes look bigger?
Try black eyeliner with black mascara. How can I wear my makeup to make my eyes look bigger?
black eyeliner makes ur eyes look smaller, the trick is to use white eyeliner. Try it u will definately see the difference.
light make-up like a white or cream and then darken the outter part with browns
Use black mascara on the top lashes, and then brown on the bottom...
u will need a white pencil eyeliner. apply it on the inner part of the lower eyelids. ur eyes will look bigger. tyra banks does it too. and black eyeliner will shrink the eyes.
Wearing make-up isn't going to help anything.Just be happy how you look.
You could try using a white or silver eyeliner. The light colors tend to make eyes look larger.
dark eyeliner on bottom eyelid, dark masscara, and light make up usually work......
wear lighter color eye shadows and liners this should help.
Try darker shadow on the outer corners of the lids and in the crease than you use on the rest of the lid. If you also use a light color in a dot above your pupil, it will open your eyes up.
only line halfway on top and bottom and blend it with a small brush
When you do your bottom eyeliner, start out darker at the outer corners and let it diminish as you go towards the inner eye and end it about half way through. I great trick is white eyeliner in the inner rim. Also curl your lashes when you use mascara. Another trick is a shimmery whitish color in the inner corners of your eyes.
Liner makes eyes look smaller. Try using a light eyeshadow , Mary Kay's crystaline is what i recommend. Start right below the brow and over your lid with a light layer. The accent with color to really put out the natural shape. Also, using a brush set instead of a basic applicator can help you get a better look. Use a legthening mascara to help too.
I am sorry I do not know if this will work or not but, from what I have seen on t.v they wear a white eye-liner to make their eyes look bigger, they call it the baby doll eyes look, have you ever heard of that before?
I think I saw it on the Top Model or Tyra Banks show or something like that.........
I hope you find this helpful................
Read some useful make up tips and more on this site to help you with it
Line the lower lids ONLY!!!U could use mascara as well. Both combined never fail!!!
Depending on your skin tone. Usually a brown is multi-tonal, if you line the enitre eye including making a V in the corner, will bring more emphasis and attention to your eyes. Especially in photos, your eyes can get lost and appear drab. If you know how to use a eyeshadow, use a lighter color on the lid to the brow, then use a darker color (the same family, ie. pink-%26gt;purple) on the brow and then on the outside half of your eye, blending towards the middle. Using lighter tones, peaches/ brown will still make yours eyes seems big. Any shiney light lgiht color right under the arch of your eyebrown will also create the illusion of larger eyes and also provide the benefit of a ';clean'; look';. A simple old fashioned trick ( not recommended if you have senstive eyes) is too line the outside ';rim'; of your eye with a white eyeliner pencil. It will give the illusion of a large widened/elongated eye.
Have fun!
lkisten i think that lighter colours make eyes look larger so
use a white or silver eye liner use dark eye shadows
and mascara or put liner only on the lids
i have tried all the tips try all and see which one suits
you best ######### BEST OF LUCK ##########
The best way to learn is grab make-up and plop in front of a mirror and try everything, experience with it all, see what color's YOU like. I work in the beauty industry, you want to ONLY put eyeliner on the top (bottom is for night's only!) Try a brown eyeliner or even a silverish white color to enchance your eye's feature's. Also you want to put mascara ONLY on the top eyelash,if you put it on the bottom it make's your eye's look to clumpy! Good luck %26amp; have FUN!!

How can I get my makeup to stay fresh?
When I put on makeup and go to like a party and start sweating from dancing so much, my makeup starts to look really bad. What can I do to fix this? How can I get my makeup to stay fresh?
maybe try the rightolayforyou
i'm using it
basically olay customises a skin care regime for you
and from your post, maybe you have oily skin? so use oil free
or just make sure your body is hydratedHow can I get my makeup to stay fresh?
Well first off, what make up do you use? What's your foundation, concealer and powder brand? Is the make up specifically for long lasting wear? That's what you need to look for. I use Almay TLC (Total Lasting Color) Make up and it works pretty well. I have really oily skin and it does a decent job of staying on throughout the day but the few times when I need a touch up, I just carry around oil-blotting sheets with me in my purse. Their awesomeeee. You just dap them all over your face and they soak up all your excess oil without smearing your make up. I use the Clean and Clear sheets from Walgreens or CVS

How can I use stage makeup to look like a boy?
I am Peter Pan in a broadway revue. I have experience with stage makeup but I need some tips on making my face look more like a boy's and less like a teenage girl'sHow can I use stage makeup to look like a boy?
Oh have i done this soo many times ok check this out first you want to fill out your face with base and powder if you well kinda pale do a darker color than your color also cuz this is peter pan i would suggest that you do freckles around the nose and check bones you can also use eye liner to make eye brows look thicker i hope this helpHow can I use stage makeup to look like a boy?
Definitely thicken your eyebrows. Use a foundation that's slightly darker than your skin tone. Since Peter Pan is a young boy you don't have to make yourself look very masculine. I think you should rely more on your acting than make up to make you boyish. Even if you still look girly, if you are really in character, then the audience will believe you're a boy.

How should i do my makeup and hair for 1st day back to school?
Please put links to pictures if you can. I have fair skin, blue eyes, light golden brown/blonde hair (which is mid-back and layered. ) Any ideas that won't take to long and try to give directions on how to achieve the look. Thanks so much. How should i do my makeup and hair for 1st day back to school?
I think you should go for brights,
especially because your blue eyes are most likely
to pop out with other ';non-darkish'; colors.
Try applying eyeshadow that might look similar
to the shirt you're wearing [especially if it's a bright color]
You can try straightening your hair, or putting some
volume stuff + mousse after showering to make it
look in form of what you want.
Don't think too much about it.
I'm sure you'll look fine anyway. How should i do my makeup and hair for 1st day back to school?
You should put on a bit of foundation;
To even out your skin,
You should put some blush on;
To add ..... Prettiness?
Some eyeshadow A LITTLE BIT!
A light green color would work...
And some lip gloss would finish it off!
*Remember; When you put on make-up, always remember to make it look natural, NEVER make it look like you have it on. Make-up is used to ENHANCE your beauty.
I hope it helped!

How do I apply eye makeup to have a really great smoky eye look?
I want to look quite sexy for my husband when he comes home from work on Valentine's Day and I'd like to do the smoky eye thing. Whenever I try, it doesn't look quite right. Any tips on how to get it? Serious/legitimate answers only please. I report any others as abuse. How do I apply eye makeup to have a really great smoky eye look?
This is a great way to get that smokey eye look fast and easy. After the instructions are links to get the supplies you need to create this sexy, high fashion look.
Line inside both the top and bottom rims with a black eye pencil, paying close attention to going into the the lash line itself.
Then, with the small eyeshadow brush, soften the black eye pencil line's edges.
Then apply black powder eyeshadow directly over the pencil and smudged. The shadow helps to set and further soften the look.
Next apply neutral brown eyeshadow encircling the entire eye area, be sure to soften and graduate outward (from the eye itself) for that perfect blended look.
And last but not least, apply black mascara on curled lashes to add just the right touch of sexy delicacy to the overall look.

eyeliner around the whole eye, dark eyeshadow-dark purple or dark brown then some fake eyelashes to top it off and black masacara
1st: line your upper lid with a black eyeline (thicker in the middle) and underneath your eye use a slightly lighter color (like gray) and smudge.
2nd: use a light eyeshadow over entire lid and browbone
3rd: go over lid with a darker color but don't go above crease
4th: get an even darker color and starting at the lashline blend upward to the crease
5th: follow with several applications of mascara
go to eyeslipsface.com and go to shop E.L.F. then go to looks. you'll see a Smoky Eyes look. It will show u Good Luck!
This is what I do anyway, I call it the 'rock chick look'
How to acheive this look-The secret to this look is not paying to much attention to detail. Use a gunmental grey liner pencil instead of an intense black. Try to randomly line the outer lash lid and blend it onto the eyelid wth a small brush to give it that slept in feel. Don't taper the line towards the outer rim of the eye; this look has a rock chick feel to it so the line needs to be all one size.
good look x
Well if you do a search you can find detailed instructions but they often leave out one very important step. Prep - Before you go adding a dark color to your eye area you need to prep it so the shadow doesnt go on smudgy looking. To do this be sure to put a good pressed or loose powder or flesh/light colored eye shadow on the eye first make the base a oilfree soft powdered surface or the dhadow will blotch - do this around your entire area where the shadow is applied - EVERYWHERE. ALso be sure when you apply your smoke color wheter it be brown or gray that you use a loose bristle brush and blend blend blend - do not use a little qtip style eye shadow applicator you must have looser bristles.
Well, make sure you use alot of eye liner to make your eyes look bold. Then apply black mascara and see if you can find a gray eye shadow. Start at the edge of your eyelid apply shadow as dark as you can, and gradually make the color fade and you move up towards your brow. The masacara and liner will make your eyes pop (which is totally sexy) and then the fading shadow gives it the smoky look.
Hope that helps!

Start at the edge of your eyelid apply shadow as dark as you can, and gradually make the color fade and you move up towards your brow. The masacara and liner will make your eyes pop (which is totally sexy) and then the fading shadow gives it the smoky look.
Hope that helps!
How do you keep powdered makeup from continuing to break off?
A couple of days ago, I dropped my favorite (and very expensive) pressed powder foundation on the floor.. On the top corner, it crumbled, and much of the powder fell out.. Since then, everytime I open it, there is more chunks and crumbles that I have to throw out.. Is there anything that I can do to set the powder on that side so that it doesn't continue to break all the way down? How do you keep powdered makeup from continuing to break off?
ok, here is what you do since it is going to continue crumbling. Mash it until it is all powder, and very fine. Buy a liquid foundation, apply, and then brush your loose powder on for a velvet look. How do you keep powdered makeup from continuing to break off?
It is a common problem i guess i have been facing since i started using them. So u cant help it. Just prevent dropping it down.
unfortunately....NO
youre just going to have to chalk it up as a loss and a learning experience...sorry, i hate when that happens!!!
You shouldn't have dropped it i n the first place.
Good question, but really there is nothing that can be done, other than being extra careful.
That has happened to me too and there is nothing you can do to stop it from breaking in the compact. Just put the remainder in a little jar(that has a lid), crush it up and use it as a loose powder OR just buy another compact.

How do I get my makeup to stay on?
Okay so I put on eyeliner on my upper lid and waterline on the lower lid, concealer/foundation under my eyes, mascara, blush and sometimes eyeshadow. It looks good at first, but as the day goes on it always looks absolutely terrible. Most of the time it's not a good time to touch it up or anything, or I don't have makeup with me so what should I do? Is there anything I can do to get it to stay on longer? Any good non-smudging eyeliner and mascara too?How do I get my makeup to stay on?
ok first you can try a water-proof foundation and blush or the main reason your make-up might smudge is because your skin is oily so before applying make-up, clean your skin thoroughly and apply a base. then apply make-up as usual. to fix your eyes you apply a little base powder on your eyelids to hold the eyeshadow. A good mascara is maybelline- new york lash discovery minibrush in waterproof. How do I get my makeup to stay on?

MAC has really good long lasting make up. For a base get a paint pot (eye primer) from MAC. ur eye makeup will last up to 15 hours. MAC has a bunch of long lasting makeup.
try putting moisturizer or foundation primer on before you apply your makeup. and also an eyeshadow base when you wear eyeshadow. as far as not smudging eyeliner, clinique's quickliner for eyes is great! also, a great foundation to use is bare escentuals! i love it sooo much and it looks great all day! clinique's high impact mascara is also amazing! hope i helped

How can I apply my makeup to look more natural?
I use browns and light purples and I try very hard to make it look natural but you can always tell I have makeup on. I don't use mascara, I use black eyeliner on the top lid to just make my lashes look fuller, I use a light plum purple right on the lash line, and a sandy brown as my base. But it always ends up looking like I have makeup on, how can I apply it more naturally but to actually enhance my features? How can I apply my makeup to look more natural?
I actually just started doing this recently and it looks great. I apply my regular foundation/concealer/powder. Then I bought this really nice blush in a neutral pink shade (think MAC Melba colour, but I bought Quo because it's cheaper and i like it more, but it's only in Canada). I apply it to the apple of my cheeks, lightly dust it across my forehead and chin as well and then apply a little extra to the brush and use it as a light eyeshadow. I finish my curling my eyelashes and applying L'oreal Bare Naturale mascara in Brown-black and a light sheer pink lipgloss (right now it's Victoria Secret) . It looks natural but ';too good to be natural'; lol.
Tip- If you press the mascara into your lashline as you apply you get a fake eyeliner look without the dramatic effect of actually wearing eyeliner. How can I apply my makeup to look more natural?
hy..look..you have a dark skin right..you should not use eye liner.just use mascara to look natural..about using a compact powder you should use natural..and if you to use such as compact powder use the natural.if you use a brown sandy your face will look darkness.ok!

How should I do my makeup to take a fierce drivers licence pic?
So im going in to get my licence and i want a good picture! because my permit picture is just hidious!!!!
So could you give me some makeup help on to how I can do my makeup that it will show up on camera and look nice?
And also any other tips on how to take a nice picture??How should I do my makeup to take a fierce drivers licence pic?
I suggest doing something simple, especially for your driver's license and if you still need to get your state ID. Do a half-smile and just look straight ahead. You want people to able to know that's you, and if you do some dramatic makeup and try to make yourself look different, you might have problems with whoever checks your ID or license. How should I do my makeup to take a fierce drivers licence pic?
Do they even change it?
All right. Try to use a natural but glowing face such as peaches, soft bronzes, and shimmer. A light pink/ tan glow on your skin looks soft, delicate, yet subtle.
Good luck!
ummmm i just got my license an i'm sorry to tell ya but they use the same pic as your permit. i heard u CAN hav it changd bt costs money. sorry good luck :)

Does any one have any idea how to makeup for a black woman?
I have round face and am black and i do not have a clue about the shades and colors to useDoes any one have any idea how to makeup for a black woman?
It would depend if you are lighter skinned or darker skinned. Lighter skin can get away with wearing more pastel shades. Dark skin can take the more darker, sulty shades without looking trashy. I would say go to a department store and have a make over. Get some help in deciding from the pros.Does any one have any idea how to makeup for a black woman?
shades of gold or green look good.
You need to choose your foundation carefully. matte foundations may not work as well as an oil based foundation for women of color. I recommend looking in your area for a good make-up artist who can recommend the right product and color for your skin type and tone. There are some really good artists that can custom create your own color if the over the counter products don't quite match. Because I do not know your tone I cannot recommend the accessory colors eyeshadow, lipstick, etc. Orange or burgandy may look good on one tone and a purple or red may look good on another. Do not go to the mall cosmetic counters they push products you really don't need %26amp; stay away for the overly expensive boutiques. A good make-up artist knows skin care and colors so do your research. Good Luck
Use dark shade.
You can read make up tips here.
Browns, bronze, gold and neutrals
Uhm, shades of gold and browns look really good. Shimmery brown-gold looks good too.
just use darker shades and darker lipstick. also, read the beauty section in the seventeen mag.
You are so lucky to have some color. While the rest of us are using bronzers and blushes, you are blessed with a great shade. That said, I suggest that you go to a department store and approach one of the reps in cosmetic counters and have her or him do your makeup. Depending on your face shape and coloring, they can determine which colors are best for you. Good Luck!
go to a make up counter in a department store MAC, stila and NARS are the best for black skin
If you can get to a mac counter I would try that first. I have a medium tone skin an I can always fine something that matches perfectly there. You always want to use a foundation that matches your current skin tone so you may need to have one color for winter and another for summer.
Bronze, purples, greens eye shadows look great on dark skin.
I've heard the CoverGirl Queen Collection is great for women of color. Hear are some shades I think would look great-
Lip Gloss in Starlet Sand, or Premiere Pink
Eye Shadow Quad in Violet Vibes or Blue Notes
www.covergirl.com/queen/index.jhtml is great...you can take quizzes and things to see what shades and products are good for YOU.
1. Look beyond your skin's color and examine its undertones. Rich ebony complexions usually have cool, almost blue undertones, while brown and caramel complexions have warm golden undertones.
2. Choose from shades that appear to be in your color range and may complement your complexion's undertones. Remember that foundation will look different on your skin than it does in a bottle or on a thumbnail palette.
3. Consider lines that specialize in black beauty products for the widest color selection. Always try foundation on your jawline or the inside of your wrist to get the best idea of a color match.
4. Set your makeup with a loose translucent powder. If you're blessed with a flawless even complexion, skip the foundation and opt for a tinted moisturizer or tinted powder over bare skin.
5. Contour your cheekbones with a sweep of blush. Plums, currants and mauves will flatter a medium to dark complexion. Caramel, honey and apricot will complement a medium to light complexion.

How do i use makeup to hide my birthmark on my arm?
Because i have a birthmark on my arm, i always dont dare to wear tank tops or short tees.. so please teach me techniques on how to use foundation or concealer to do it. PLease BE as specific as possible and show steps in instructionsHow do i use makeup to hide my birthmark on my arm?
Read on to learn how to cover a birthmark with makeup.
1-Begin by applying a light, water-based foundation over the entire area. Blend the edges well and avoid using too much. Using too much will result in an over-made look, and may even lead to a bad complexion.
2-Carefully choose the right color of concealer. This will depend on the color of the birthmark. For a blue or purple tinted birthmark, a yellowish concealer will work the best. For a birthmark that is basically flesh colored but just darker than the natural skin tone, use a concealer that matches the skin tone but is at least two shades lighter. For a light pink birthmark, use a concealer that matched the natural skin tone. For a wine-colored birthmark, use a concealer that is flesh colored but a shade lighter and tinted yellow.
3- Dab the concealer onto the birthmark. If using a creamy concealer, let it dry for a few moments before blending.
4- Blend the concealer carefully. Do not wipe it off, and do not spread the concealer outside the lines of the birthmark.
Powder the entire area well. This will keep the makeup in place. For the most natural look, use a translucent powder.
Remember that birthmarks are usually much more obvious to the person that has it than others.
If the birthmark is elevated or has a rough texture to it, it will probably look worse caked with makeup. How do i use makeup to hide my birthmark on my arm?
I dont know why you would want to cover your birthmark because I think it gives people character. If you still do want to cover it up, find your skin tonned foundation and if you need help finding it, go to a makeup counter in one of your malls or a drugstore. Get a foundation sponge that looks like a 3D triangle shape, and take the bottle of foundation and put some on your hand by putting the bottle opening close to your hand so they are touching, then flip it upside down so some foundation comes out. Take the bottle off your hand and take the sponge and dap it in the foundation. Then dap your birthmark so it is fully covered.
I've actually seen BODY MAKE UP at the store and its used to to cover scars, marks, and flaws on people's arms and legs. YOu might have to retouch every now and then though.

And do you recommend itHow long does elf makeup take to delivery i live in maryland if that helps!!?
It's not that great.
:/How long does elf makeup take to delivery i live in maryland if that helps!!?
it'll probably take somewhere between 3 and 7 days.
some of their stuff is really good, while others aren't... their lip glosses are really good. actually, ALL lipgloss is basically the same thing, so e.l.f. is probably the best brand to get because it's only $1. their makeup brushes are also pretty decent, especially the ones for the eyes.
It depends on the shipping method you choose, but the average is a week. i placed an order with 3 day shipping and arrived in 2 days. Aren't they great, i got addicted to their products, I think I already have all of their products, if it's your first time buying, tell them I recommended you, and they'll start giving a lot of discounts.
I live in PA and it didn't take long at all. I was really surprised by how fast the shipping was considering what I've heard before about how it wasn't very good. So I think maybe 2-4 days for you.
And I definitely recommend at least trying it. Some of their products are great!

How to i makemy makeup smoooth?
Okay here is the detail to my question.
I only wear mascara and eyeliner but it usually comes out crappy,
can anyone tell me how they put thier makeup on so nice?
Mascara'- There are so many big blobs of black mascara on my eyelashes and its gross! How to i makemy makeup smoooth?
separate your eye lashes and buy a better mascaraHow to i makemy makeup smoooth?
With mascara if you are after a good look you do not want to layer it on as this can clog it up so use a primer first one of those 2 step mascaras as well can be good so you only apply the colour once.
Alternatively you can buy Primers on their own and being clear they will not clump up. A good mascra to try is Blinc as it tubes your lashes and the primer is fantastic to make sure you have a perfect look.
I would def. invest in a mascara that is in the medium price range. Also I agree with getting a comb. As far as eyeliner, I found that getting an eye shadow, an eyeliner brush, and water works the best. Dip the brush in water, swirl it in the shadow, and use the brush as you would an eyeliner stick. then lightly smudge it so that it does not look as harsh. This is actual a technique used for the cat eye look, but you can use it just for a simple eye as well. It does not come out as harsh as stick does, and looks a little bit more natural. Plus you can use pretty much any color. Good luck
Sometimes the mascara is old and goes 'off', hence the smudging etc.
I suggest you buy a new one lol.
use a comb.
and mac mascera is really good.
The best thing to do is buy another brand of mascara. I like Mary Kay, it goes on nice and the brush separates the lashes. When it starts to lumpup, it is time to throw it away...to old. Have fun and God Bless,Velle T
check out the event makeup artist for the proper application techniques. That's probably where your problem is.

Hey i can never get my mascara the way i want it either but ive figured out put eyeliner on first then get an eyelash curler and curl your lashes and put the mascara upwards on your lashes for me it doesn't create lumps and doesnt look half bad! hope this helps newyazz xxx
It may be the type of mascara your using. Try something with a lot of brissels and buy a eyelash comb. They look like this http://spacenk.scene7.com/is/image/Space鈥?/a>
As far as your eyeliner goes try something that doesn't smudge.
Hello Darling!
Well, I used to have a similar problem and I finally figured out why. You have to start with the very bottom of the lash and work your way up. I have found that it helps if you slightly wiggle the mascara wand as well. This way it grabs all of the excess and leaves the lashes spread apart.
Also, don't use more than 3 or 4 swipes of the wand. If you go over the lashes too many times, it allows the mascara to dry and can lead to clumping. Another good idea would be to register for some free makeup samples. Try 1freestuff.com and you can test out different products before you buy them to see if you like them. Hope this helps and good luck!
Stay classy!
I think it's just your mascara at fault here. =]
I'd suggest buying a mascara with a big (full) wand, with loads of bristles on it, Maybelline's XXL + Colossal are great mascaras which have big wands and don't clump, (although colossal does get a little dry + flake off by the end of the day) I swear by XXL. When you pull out a mascara wand it should have a bit of a tight squeeze out of the tube, which will take off any excess mascara so that it won't clump.
When you apply the mascara to the top lashes get quite close to the mirror and tip your head back a little, and wiggle the mascara wand right through your lashes making sure that you get every lash, for the bottom lashes tilt your head down and look up into a mirror and run the wand lightly over the lashes.
Eyeliner takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy. The way I do mine is to use a kohl liner right across my top lash-line (if your hand isn't very steady I'd recommend resting a finger on your cheek) and then using an angled eyeliner brush I'll put a bit of black (or any other colour you want to use) eyeshadow over the top, to set it and give it a better shape, you don't have to add the eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner, it's just something I like to do. For the bottom lash-line; I run a kohl pencil lightly along it and smudge it a bit and then go over it with an eyeshadow. For my waterline I always use white eyeliner, I have almond shaped eyes, (and fair skin) and black liner on my waterline makes my eyes look tiny, and as if I've been crying, white liner makes my eyes look brighter and wider. Black liner on the waterline looks great on most people, but it just doesn't look right on me.
BTW there are so many great make up tutorials on youtube, imo the best are 'pixiwoo', 'xsparkage' + 'panacea81'.
Good luck! x

How to do natural makeup for a young girl?
I would like to know ways to natural makeup.I would like to know which brand might be best too.it can't be expensive.I'm black and have skin that not light or dark meduim skin.I don't reallywanna use too muchHow to do natural makeup for a young girl?
Best makeup for a young girl is mascara, and lip gloss. Since your young, you don't want to wear too much makeup at your age so it's best to keep it at mascara, lip gloss, and some moisturizer :)
For special occasions, you can add either blush OR a shimmery, nude eye shadow. You should try eyeliner when your about 15 or 16.
Best brand for mascara is either Maybelline or L'Oreal. You can also try CoverGirl's LashBlast mascara. For lip gloss you can try a drugstore brand or MAC brand. How to do natural makeup for a young girl?
Well it depends if your skin is light or not. But if your skin is olive, or tan, you could use the natural skin color, or orangish shade for the eye shadow. But if you're ebony colored skin you should use dark, rich, creamy colors. Same goes for your lips. If you would like to add blush, maybe a darkish-brown color would be nice.
For eyeliner or mascara, I reccomend using the color black or dark grey. Ebony color skin looks also great if you did the smokey eyes, maybe if you want to get out of your routine in the ';always calm, natrual'; look.
If you still have more questions. You could look at some articles or videos on the internet.
You could use MAC its good and fairly cheap you could use some powder because I'm sure you have great skin and just a bit of mascara and eyeliner or eye shadow would be great I think
The best natural make up tip EVER - dont use it!!
Or if you are over 14 and wanna try some, use an eyelash curler with a liitle clear mascara. Finish with chapstick :)
how young are u anyways? if ur 12 and below u dont really need any. MAC is great.

How do you apply makeup to cover pimple?
what products do i need? Steps? How do you apply makeup to cover pimple?
Most pimples are red so if you take away the redness by using a concealer that has both green and your natural skin tone will work. First apply the green to take away the redness and then the Concealer that is the natural color of your skin tone. Make sure you put an acne cream on before the concealer. You can get all of this at your local drug store or grocery store. Or you can try something from Arbonne. That is botanical based and great for your skin. www.arbonne.com
PS - Proactive really works for me!How do you apply makeup to cover pimple?
The mineral makeups are really good. Get a shade that matches your skin as close as possible and use the concealer type of brush. Apply it in THIN layers. Don't glob any type of coverup product over a pimple. Layer it.
Hey, use concealer, that is always winner.
First, cleanse your skin with facial wash or soap and dry it thoroughly.
Secondly, take the concealer and dot it AROUND the pimple NOT directly on the pimple.
Thirdly, blend it in slowly to the centre of the pimple so it looks natural.
You can dust a little bit of power on it if you want too.
Hope I have helped!
ok. you will need bronzer
step 1 buy some
srep 2 ope the package, and get the foamy pad,
step 3 apply to pimple area, making sure to rub in!!
step 4, apply other makeup!!!
try the bronzer below!!
good luck!!

How do you get makeup to look like Bill Kaulitz's?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=J6zJLfFR-LYHow do you get makeup to look like Bill Kaulitz's?
You can attempt the look by putting on black eyeliner first, then sweep black or slate eye shadow all over your eye lid. Use white eyeshadow and sweep that under your brow so your eyes can stand out. Don't forget to put lots of mascara!! Oh yeah, and make sure your brows are nicely plucked, because Bill's brows are nicely shaped. You can use cover up or foundation to cover any blemishes on your face, and use pale lipstick so your eyes can stand out even more.
It looks like he just takes eyeliner ans applys it to the top and botton water lines, and on his lid but right on his lash line. Use a eyeliner pencil and apply then get a sponge applicator and smudge it. I hope this helps. Good Luck.

How to get my makeup to stay?
I got this new foundation THAT I LOVE it's amazing it's called dermablend smooth indulgence foundation. But I have oily skin %26amp; no foundations last on me. UGH how can I get my skin to behave %26amp; stop making me a shinney mess? How to get my makeup to stay?
First off, you should put on a face primer to prime your face and make your make up look flawless and stay.
Second you should use a foundation made for your skin type (oily/combo skin) i have that too.
Then, you should wear a powder to help the primer.
Hope I helped! %26lt;3How to get my makeup to stay?
You can invest in a face primer if you wish.
You can also try washing your face and exfoliating before applying makeup. Also, use powder over your foundation - it will absorb the oil and stop shine a lot better.
Another thing you can try are ';shine erasers'; - they are similar to facial wipes, but instead of removing makeup, they absorb oil without removing the makeup.
You can buy some here, for a good price ($1 for 50 sheets):
http://www.eyeslipsface.com/tools/shine_鈥?/a>
Good luck. As you can see, there are lots of options out there. :)
Sweaty: You have to remember to put face powder on after you put your make up on. The powder will set your makeup. This is a trick that drag queens and us transsexuals have learned to do. With Dermablend, it is used a lot for beard cover for those transsexuals that have not had electrolysis on their faces.
carry some oil blotting paper in your purse or buy some matte finishing powder!!!
touch up with that when you think your face is getting oily and your makeup will look as good as new!!
oh and it helps if your foundation is not too heavy or liquidy and cakey. the best kind of foundation is light but it has great coverage. find foundation that is especially made for oily skin.
good luck!
Try using a no shine foundation primer. Put the foundation on after, then finish it off with some shine free loose powder applied with a brush. Good luck =)
Make sure you always use powder over your foundation to set it. If you get shiny through out the day you can use blotting sheets. I use clean and clear ones. They are affordable and they work :)
use a face primer. i really like korres face primer. you can find it at sephora :D
get the stay on make up on comercials mainly just lipstick but hey try it

How to choose dramatic makeup that doesn't look trashy?
I'm going to an event where I want to have a very dramatic look. I'm wearing a tight red-and-black corset laced with a black ribbon and a skirt composed of knee-length black netting, as well as a red and black half-mask. I want makeup that will enhance the clothing (I'm thinking along the lines of bright red lips) but don't want to ruin it by being overly flashy. How to choose dramatic makeup that doesn't look trashy?
If your doing bright red lips, try to keep the attention on that instead of the rest of your face. Try doing a subtle neutral eye and blush, put all your drama to the lips. This way you avoid being overly painted. How to choose dramatic makeup that doesn't look trashy?
A family friend of mine is a Mary Kay representative and she was VERY helpful in that area. I went to see her for my Junior prom a year ago and she KNEW her stuff.
I'd recommend getting the opinion of someone like that, or a cosmetologist or something along those lines. This Mary Kay rep had worksheets and samples all ready to show you different ways of putting on makeup to achieve different effects.
Perhaps you could also find something like that online?
that sounds really fun. one thing to do is play up what you naturally have. eyeliner is great if you want to take the pencil over the top (ONLY) of your eye and then have it curl out past your eye. also try blush, birght red, in one thick line diagonally across your cheekbones. this will really bring out your bone structure and will be eye catching. the red lips are a great idea. have fun!
Wear a bright red lipstick, but since that's very bright, don't overdue your eyes. If you choose to wear the lipstick, then wear a VERY subtle black eye liner, and some shimmery eyeshadow. Good Luck!
OK wear the read lips but dnt put too much on also take a light brown and shade the eyes make everyone look at you lips because i bet they will not c ur eyes a lot! a little blush and that should do it! good luck!

also, do you need to wear more than usual amount of makeup? I don't usually wear alot, but wondering if I should wear more than usual?I have to be in a commercial for my employer and I need some tips on how to match my makeup to my clothing.?
Go see a professional take what your are wearing with you so that they can coordiante the makeup with your clothes. Go to M. A. C. they are the best.I have to be in a commercial for my employer and I need some tips on how to match my makeup to my clothing.?
Consult with someone who knows. There should be someone there for that purpose.
I think it's ridiculous to match your makeup to your clothes. Match it to your face.
Check with the studio where the commercial will be shot to see if they have a makeup artist on hand for this spot. If not, you can find one in the yellow pages. If you are the spokesperson (the main character) for the commercial, you will need to have someone professional to do your makeup.
Wearing make up that matches your clothing is NEVER a good idea. Wear colors that compliment your skin tone, but I'd keep it neutral, browns, beige's, peaches. No ';colored'; eye liners, mascaras. Basic black or brown is good. As for how much make up to wear, when you are being professionally photographed or appearing on television it is a good idea to apply make up a little ';bolder'; as you normally would, but I wouldn't go crazy or you'll end up looking like a cheap hooker.
Your make up should complement your features. Don't overdo it. Good place to start would be your prescriptives counter. They are more into a natural look, rather than MAC..but it you do want photo make up, then user MAC.

Can anyone give me some makeup tips on how not to let my big eyes stand out so much?
well my eyes are big and brown right? and i use eyeliner on the top and add i a tail at the end.I switched from using black eyeliner to brown, because the black eyeliner would make my eyes stand out too much, and the brown makes my face look more softer but I would like something different and sexy! Can anyone give me some makeup tips on how not to let my big eyes stand out so much?
What?? Big Brown eyes that stand out are SOOOO breathtaking! Omg you are so lucky!
The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence............
I would say to stop using any eyeliner and just use a little mascara and light eyeshadow if you don't want your eyes to stand out though. Can anyone give me some makeup tips on how not to let my big eyes stand out so much?
You should DEFINITELY be glad that you have big eyes, tbh. Well, I like mine. People would much rather have big eyes rather than small eyes. Anyways, I recommend putting black eyeliner on your bottom lashline and water ducts. They make your eyes look smaller. And if you want to make your eyes look bigger (with the given information you obviously don't) then put WHITE eyeliner on the water ducts then black on the lash line.
Eyeliner emphasizes the eyes, especially black. Try using just eyeshadow with no liner, or try using a much softer color, such as violet or brown.
Big eyes are so amazingly beautiful. You are lucky. If anything you should be making them look bigger. But i am sure they are beautiful how they are, don't try to change yourself too much sweetheart!!!
go to this link here. it's a youtube account she has many great
makeup tutorials, she's very nice and if you message her
she'd be happy to give you her advice.
Big eyes are great. The tail on the end may make them look larger than they are. I have big blue eyes and I'm always looking for ways to make them look bluer. Any ideas for me?
Big eyes are awesome. You should actually be playing UP your big eyes and not trying to hide them! You are really lucky. Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but it's true.
Good luck. :)
Why big eyes are sexy, you should let it be a good quality
dont use eyeliner on the top use it only on the bottom and the corners that way u can reduce ur size. That is what i do
put on bronzer to highlight your cheeks and some lipgloss !

How can I learn how to put on makeup?
I am 20 years old and have never used makeup before. I want to try and look a little bit more girly for a change but don't know where to begin. Can anyone help me?How can I learn how to put on makeup?
Some places will do free makeup applications. Clinique used to do that but I heard they have a minimum purhcase now. Anyway, check the mall or big department stores for places that will do that. Of course they're hoping you'll buy their makeup but in many cases, you don't have to (and if they do have a requirement like that, they'll let you know up front). You could even call ahead to ask if you don't want to have to deal w/ it on the spot. Anyway, when they do the makeup you can ask questions and stuff and they'll give you advice. Some community colleges sometimes offer a one-day class in that kind of thing, too.How can I learn how to put on makeup?
start with a good face routine: wash, tone, exfoliate %26amp; moisturize, because if you don't,make up will not look right. This is easy, just whatever your skin type is: dry/oily/combo.
Find a foundation: do you want a mineral(powder)makeup or do you want liquid? there is a wonderful mineral makeup at Body Shop, they also have other types of makeup, very natural, no animal testing. Liquid makeups: covergirl is not pricey and its a good line, more expensive: smashbox photo ready or their tinted moisturizers are great and they have vit/minerals to give you glowing skin when choosing the right color, apply to jawline to see if it matches the neck, that way it won't look like a mask, for cheek color again,covergirl/cheekstains are in;like tarte or benefit. you may want to set your makeup with a powder(if using liquid) transparent is best, lips a nice tinted gloss/bold color, whatever you prefer, eyemakeup depends on your eyecolor or hair color or your preference, blues:browns look best,browneyes:purple/mauve/green,hazel:鈥?etc.eyeliner and a good mascara and you are set.

How to best apply makeup to spots?
Is it good to put makeup when you have pimples?if so how do you do it well? How to best apply makeup to spots?
i would smear it on thick........ but then again i'm a guy......How to best apply makeup to spots?
It's not really good to put makeup on pimples, b/c it clogs them up. They need to breath, and touching them or putting anything on your face(besides cleanser) can put dirt in them and cause them to not go away, clogging them. I know it sucks when you have one, you don't want to go out in public. It's ok to use makeup, but if you can go w/out than do so. What you should do is wash your face then put some acne treatment on it (with benzol peroxide) then some lotion. Try not to use foundation, you don't really need it anyway. What I do is put concealer where I need it on my face and on pimples, then use a matte powder to set everything. Don't use your fingers to apply concealer to a pimple, try a sponge-though those don't cover them as well as a brush. Go to walgreens or walmart. In the makeup aisle, there should be an area with a whole buncha makeup brushes. I use one that's skinny and flat, sometimes the really tiny brush works good. good luck
The standard advice in all the women's magazines is to lightly dab concealer on the spots before you apply foundation. In practice, I've always found that I wiped the concealer off as I applied the foundation! So if you want to try covering it up, put the concealer on after the foundation, not before.
However do examine your face close to the mirror before going out. Sometimes, trying to hide the pimple just draws attention to it, because the make up doesn't blend properly over it and it makes it look worse. Bear in mind that the make-up advice in magazines is often given by people who do make-up for photo shoots, so it looks great from a distance but artifical when you get close, as people do in real life.
Be sure you buy a non-comedogenic foundation and concealer, so they won't clog your pores and make the spot worse.
No,
Buy Proactive they have the perfect stuff for acne they also sell make-up!
Good Luck!
use a good concealer 1st,then apply make-up.
cleansing your face at night is a very important step followed by a good moisurizer and when you do wear make up I have found that Estee Lauder has a very good makeup called camoflage makeup and they say that actors and actresses wear it to cover their flaws on their faces you can go by their counters and they will treat you to a facial
It's not good for your skin or acne. The only good thing you can do to help clear your acne up is to wash your face with a facial cleanser daily. However, it isn't necessarily BAD when you wear makeup over your pimples; just make sure you wash it off with that facial soap when you're done.

covering up acne is kind of hard because it's a hard bump, so when makes an appearance, at night before you go to bed, clean the area, pop it, then put some mint tooth paste on it, by morning the swelling will have gone down, as well as the redness, so it should be fairly easy to cover it up, however, if you wear foundation, get away from liquid, because of all the ingredients that they put in it will clog your skin, go for bare minerals! it won't clog your pores!!! call around to salons to find it! there are some who do sell it, it may be a bit expensive, but your skin is worth spending the extra mulah!!
nooooooo way it will block up your pores even more and get infected cause it needs air leave it alone and clean it to reduce bacteria

How can I use makeup to make a thin, square face rounder and fuller?
I think my face can come across as too ';contoured'; and i'd like to fill it out using makeup...how do I do that? How can I use makeup to make a thin, square face rounder and fuller?
Try using a bronzing lotion on your face, a tanned face will always make it look fuller yet still attractive, also, blush on your uppercheek bones sweeping upwards toward your hairline will fill out your cheeks a bit. =)

How to get eye makeup off?
I only put on eyeliner and it's not that much, but I still want to get it off. I don't wanna go to the store and get those eye makeup remover stuff, so is there any other way to get it off? Thanks! How to get eye makeup off?
Baby oil.
Whenever I don't want to use the stuff from the pharmacy, (because it stings the eyes!) I use baby oil. Dab some on a cotton swab, or even the corner of a wash cloth you don't particularly care for, and rub away! It might look messy, but just keep alternating between the oil, and rubbing off the dirty oil with either a dry part of the cloth (or TP,) or a damp cloth until it's all gone.
I will say that it will get in your eyes somehow. It doesn't hurt or anything, but it makes your vision ';watery'; for a short period of time afterwards, so be sure you don't need to drive or do anything that requires perfect vision.
If you use a small amount of eye liner, try a Q-tip dipped in the baby oil. You'll have more control over it, but be sure to keep wiping! How to get eye makeup off?
take some vaseline on a kleenex or q-tip and wipe it off.
all of it shouldd.
w-a-t-e-r or water or soap and water yay!
lotion
put it on a cotton ball.

How to make my makeup look good?
How can i do my makeup for school not look too overdone but make my eyes look big and pretty? How to make my makeup look good?
smokey eyes
Line them well, and create a smokey eye by dusting darker shadow on the outer part of your lid. It creates a distraction to your eyes and they appear bold. Don't be afraid to highlight your eyes, They are the most becoming part of your face.
use mascarra, eye liner and a bit of lipgloss thats all u need at my skul thats what most girls do anything over tht is a bit too much for schoolHow to make my makeup look good?
face:
i think for school put a dab of foundation on and rub it all in.
then if you want you can add a tiny bit of blush but i prefer none.
eyes:
now for the eyes, line them with eye liner lightly but not too light where you cant see it just on the top of your eye not the bottom because if you don't line the bottom well enough it could turn out to look like a raccoon eye or even make you look goth or emo. unless of course you want to look like that.
i prefer not having eyeshadow on but if you like it then put a neutral eye shadow on. it depends what color your eyes are but for hazel you would probably do a smoky look. if you dont know how to do this just simply look on youtube and it should have all the steps you need for a pretty yet simple and neutral look
Lips:
i would recommend no lipstick. so just a little lipgloss or even chapstick to make your lips shine a bit.
HOPE THIS HELPS! and have fun with it =)
Take it easy. you should use
Foundation and/or powder (depending on your complexion)
blush
eyeliner
mascara
if you want eye shadow.
Apply your foundation as if you were putting on lotion, literally. put it on your hands and just rub it in evenly and smooth. apply a thin layer of BROWN eyeliner to your top lid, avoiding the inner corners, and a little to the outer corners of your eye. don't out it on the inside please:) wear black mascara. make sure it is even and not clumpy, you shouldn't need to much. Use a pale Eye shadow (light pink, purple, blue or tan/brown) only to the brow bone. Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. this is both natural looking, enhancing, easy, quick, and appropriate for everyday use. Have fun!!:)
Emma Lorraine
white eyeliner in the inner rim of your lower eyes make you look brighter and more wide awake eyes.
Also applying an extra coat of mascara on the outer lashes make you have a cat like look. ;)
This look aint that noticeable so you probably wont get told to take it off.

use bare minerals!!!!!!!!!!!! for you eyes use eyeliner but dont go all the way to your tear duct just go about half way and then go the same length on your eyelid the a metalic eyeshadow like green! and mascara of course
to the person above me ^
dont apply foundation with fingers, becos ur fingers contain heat which will mean ur foundation will rub off and 'melt' use an application sponge

How to stop wearing makeup forevr?
I hate the way it feels on my face what an I do to makre my ski n more clear and bright? tips please ...xxHow to stop wearing makeup forevr?
Make up is not good for ur skin anyway.. so just stick to a good cleansing routine 1cleanse 2tone 3 moisturise. then exfoliate once or twice a wk to renew ur skin cells. Try using a tinted moisturiser this will give a more even skin tone less the harshness from make up and its lightweighted and natural looking. for good skin, dont drink and dont smoke! How to stop wearing makeup forevr?
I hate wearing makeup too, infact I might only put it on once a year but when I do , I might wear a bit of color on my eyes to brighten them up and a bit of lip gloss. Use a good moisturizing creme on your face and thats it. Try to find naturally based makeups that don't have nasty ingredients in them, I only use Nicole Miller from Melaleuca and as I said before thats very rare, I don't think you need makeup to be pretty but I guess to each his own, right. If you absolutely need to have a base on your face then try mineral foundations.
Hope this helps.
Wearing make up doesn't have to be obvious, i know when im not at work i wear minimal make up which includes light bobbi brown tinted moisturiser, YSL mascara, neutral eye shadow, light guerlain bronzer %26amp; some lipgloss -- keep it simple - this always feels light on my skin %26amp; lasts all day. It is also good to give your skin a rest, im a long haul cabin crew %26amp; so i have to wear full make up all the time %26amp; my skin constantly dries out from the air. The product i couldnt live without is ELIZABETH ARDEN 8 HOUR CREAM. Its fantastic as a lip gloss, moisturiser, hand cream, highlighter for eyelids - everything! I use a 100ml bottle every 2 weeks!!!!!
Use Pur Minerals 4-in-1 Pressed Powder founation!
I use it everyday, in the light shade and so far:
- it has helped to clear up my blemishes
- it gives me full voerage but is not cakey or visible at all
- i have had many compliments on my skin
- does not clog pores, it suitable for sensitive skin, and is free of impurities that can cause breakouts
How to stop wearing makeup forever - easy - become a man, we just have to shave every day.;-)
Just stop wearing make-up. Try exfoliating your skin.
Dont buy makeup no more, buy a Clean and Clear face wash.

I believe it's less expensive here (US), but the shipping charges will boost the price. You should do a price comparison including all charges.

I believe it's less expensive here (US), but the shipping charges will boost the price. You should do a price comparison including all charges.

How to do Halloween makeup so your eyes look yellow? (Like a star wars evil jedi)?
The halloween costume is for a sith, so if anyone knows how to do makeup or use face paint to make blue eyes a little more yellow, or just sith makeup in general, that would be great. Thanks! How to do Halloween makeup so your eyes look yellow? (Like a star wars evil jedi)?
Use a very light color foundation around and on eyes, follow with a yellow eye shadow. Make your eyelids a bit of a darker yellow by mixing a little brown into the yellow shadow. Then fade it out to a lighter yellow. This will give a more dramatic effect making the eye appear deep. Also use a brown eyeliner around eye. How to do Halloween makeup so your eyes look yellow? (Like a star wars evil jedi)?
Well in the movies they use contact lenses to make their eyes yellow. If you don't want to do that then you should get white face paint and cover the face then use a black or darker color around the eyes.
You should be a Jedi meanie! Anyway, just just paint your face lime and use contacts and your eyes are red. My lightsaber just killed you by the way.

youtube.com!!!
There's always youtube and searching on google. Asking on here is very helpful also. :) Here are some of my tips:
Let me start off by saying that if you're looking for inexpensive makeup, I suggest http://www.eyeslipsface.com. Nearly everything there is one dollar. It's not the best quiality, but it's good for someone starting out.
Eyeshadow:
I like getting maybelline quads. they last a long time.
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
I personally have lucious sorbet for my blue eyes.
The medium shade (top one showed on those quads) goes all over the lid.
Second one down (second darkest) compliments and goes in the crease.
The lightest goes all the way up to your brown bone.
Last but not least the darkest goes at the outer corner of your crease.
Blue eyes - browns and golds
Brown eyes - bronzes, browns, purples, pinks
Hazel Eyes - can pull off most any color 鈥?try greens, browns, pinks
Green eyes - purples, browns, golds
Make sure to invest in an eyeshadow brush鈥?the little sponge applicators it comes with are practically useless.
These are good rules for general eyeshadow, not just these quads.
As for eyeliner, black looks pretty good on everyone...
If you鈥檙e going for a lighter look, try brown.
eyeslipsface.com has some colors that are harder to find, such as sky blue for $1.
http://www.eyeslipsface.com/products.asp鈥?/a>
If your eyes are brown, purple can look good also. If your eyes are green, a dark forest green or purple is good.
When applying it on the top, make short strokes, not one big line. Thinner is better. Always BLEND. Pencil is better for beginner. You can also apply pencil eyeliner on the inner part of your lower lid. The pink strip above your bottom eyelashes is the best place :)
My favorite way to apply eyeliner is to buy an eyeliner brush and use black eyeshadow. It鈥檚 so much easier to apply and gives a lighter look.
Mascara - For a more natural look (and especially if your skin is light or your eyes are brown) use brown mascara. for a more dramatic look use black. and if you want to look crazy use colored, but I don鈥檛 reccomend it unless its halloween.
CoverGirl LashBlast is the BEST.
For blush, light pinks/peaches and tans or shimmers look good on most people. Apply it to the apples of your cheeks and cheekbones鈥?make sure it doesn鈥檛 look like a stripe. Smiling can help you find the apples of your cheeks.
Lip gloss - Can't go wrong with clear. I personally love Avon鈥檚 glazewear though.
http://shop.avon.com/shopb/product.asp?s鈥?/a>
Foundation - Most people don't need much foundation, especially not liquid, but... For a powder, be sure to use a brush. For liquid use a sponge or your hands. People seem to like bare minerals because it鈥檚 light on your skin and is good for you, but I havent tried it. Liquid provides heavier coverage for major blemishes, and powder is better for evening your skintone.
I'm only thirteen, but I get compliments on my makeup.
I keep it natural, this is what I normally use:
Clean%26amp;Clear Coverup for major blemishes
Peachy lipgloss by Avon (their glazewear is amazing. I use the ';PeachFizz'; flavor I think)
Usually a Maybelline eyeshadow quad in Lucious Sorbet or Avon neutrals pallette
http://www.maybelline.com/Product/Eye/Ey鈥?/a>
http://shop.avon.com/shopb/product.asp?s鈥?/a>
CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara
http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a>
Loreal HIP eyeliner on the bottom.
http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/de鈥?/a>
Black eyeshadow applied as eyeliner using an eyeliner brush from avon on the top lid.
http://shop.avon.com/shopc/product.asp?s鈥?/a>

How to stop makeup sweating off?
Hey, I am having a real problem with my makeup because everytime i put on my primer, and foundation and powder this should last longer, but my face always keeps getting shiny, and I basically sweat off the makeup and it only last for about an hour can anyone help me please? ThanksxxHow to stop makeup sweating off?
You should try Estee Lauder double wear make-up ,it does not come off until you use a make up remover. It does not even transfer to your clothes.Ask for a sample in any store where they sell Estee Lauder and try it first. Most brides use this as their Wedding day make-up as it lasts all day...How to stop makeup sweating off?
You probably have oily skin, so you need to make sure you are using the right skin products for that. Cleanse, tone and moisturise twice daily and make sure your moisturiser is oil free, that will help with your face getting shiny and will keep your skin at it's best.
For make-up, try an oil-free foundation that is meant for oily skin as it will keep your face from being shiny for longer an will also last longer. I highly reccomend Revlon Colourstay for Oily/Combo skin foundation which lasts all day, and No7 Intelligent Balance foundation is also v. good. You could also try just swithing to a powder foundation.
If your face is still shiny you can buy oil absorbing sheets to use during the day which are quite discreet, or just take a powder compact with you for touch ups :) x
Try the Hollywood or Valley Girl foundation from LA Minerals. I wear the Hollywood and live in south florida and it doesn't sweat off! Best makeup EVER. All the others I've tried have done the same thing, melt offa my face, got all gucky and just look horrible.
The hollywood makeup stays there. I just pat the sweat and still look good.
they have samples for like $2 on their site. you should def try it.
http://www.laminerals.com
use cotton and just dab the area where you sweat. your foundation will not come off
Put Hairspray on it thats what someone i know did and it worked for her.
Hope it helps =]make money

How to do makeup for a Lady Bug? for halloween?
Ok so im gonna be a lady bug for halloween.
its not babyish, its like kinda sexy.
so i want some cute makeup/face paint
i have those face paint pencils in black, red, blue and white.
i was thinking bright red lips and black eyes, and freckles on my face with the black face paint pencils?
any ideas?
thanks. How to do makeup for a Lady Bug? for halloween?
I think you should:
Apply foundation. Not masks of it. Just to smooth your skin.
Then use pink blush. It will cuten the look and suit the ladybug style.
Black eyeliner and mascara.
If you want to use eyeshadow go for a shimmery brown/creamy one.
Use the red penicils for lips and to seal it on use one coat of clear lip gloss.
And finish with three freckles on each cheek.
You will be adorable. How to do makeup for a Lady Bug? for halloween?
I love doing makeup for occasions like this. K i like the red lipstick thing but for your eye half of your eyelids red(the inside by your tearduck) and the outside with black with pointy edge i will show you what i mean in this video its not me but its what im talking about.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tLRtIpYw鈥?/a>
I personally wouldn't do any face painting.
I'd do black eyeshadow, pretty thick, leaving about 2cm away from the eyebrow, blend it with an off-white.
Get you some pretty red blush, put some of that on... Red lipstick. And some thick fake eyelashes.
And WHA-BAM. Sexy.
I'd skip any ';spots'; on your face and do red lips and dramatic eyes (eyeliner, big fake lashes, smokey eye shadow).
I don't think you need the face paint pencils. That stuff always looks greasy anyway. Stick with real makeup so you don't end up broken out.
I think it might be cute if you took eyeliner and drew on really long eyelashes like up your eyelid and up to your eyebrow... unless you want sexier then you can just wear fake eyelashes... bright red lips would be cute... and black eyes
red eyeshadow. black eyliner. and sparkley liquid eyeliner for the top (:
hiyy
whot aboutt yooh
doo red lips and red eye shadow and yoo shood put black eye liner for freckles apart from bigger
That sounds good! I think a lot of blush and drawn on freckles...and very red lips!
I would just do two red dots on your cheeks.
if its kinda sexy don't go too all out - but i think what you're doing sounds good
face paint
red shirt paint on the black dots
same with trousers
i like what u r doing don't go overboard though.

How would i do makeup to make myself and friends look sick/dying?
photos would help too to use as source material when doing the makeupHow would i do makeup to make myself and friends look sick/dying?
Basically make yourself yellow or white(pale)
And the eyes should look droopy. Add some kohl under your eyes for that dead look.
Show some dribble near the mouth.
The hairz gotta be messy.
good luck. How would i do makeup to make myself and friends look sick/dying?
put baby power on your face
and loads of black eyeshawdow..and kinda smugde it.
answer mine P%26amp;TY.(:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
instead of using foundation, put baby powder all over your face like you would with foundation.
under your eyes, where your eyebags are, mix a matte purple eyeshadow with a dark grey purple eyeshadow. you don't need to use a brush, you can use your fingers.
and lightly do the same mixture on your eyelids.
and use a nude color lipstick on your lips.
eyeliner is optional, but it looks a lot better without it.

Where can i learn how to apply my makeup like the makeup artist that work at MAC?
Only serious responses please! If you do not know go get your two points from someone else. Thank You.Where can i learn how to apply my makeup like the makeup artist that work at MAC?
You can go to the MAC website and they have little video clips showing you how to apply some of the looks.
MAC also has a book out that you can purchase from the store that shows you how to do all the different ';MAC looks';.
***All the different ways they do their makeup will be in the book because the employees have to wear a ';MAC look'; to work everyday. So all the looks you see them wearing will b e in the book.
***If you really want to get the looks they have then get the book for sure. Or you can get a consultation with an employee and they can show you as well.
Good luck!Where can i learn how to apply my makeup like the makeup artist that work at MAC?
Go to the mall, they show you how to apply makeup professionally for free!!!!
On Tyra Banks t.v. show website she has the episode where she shows her whole audience how to apply make-up in like five minutes. It's pretty good I do it her way and my make-up especially eyeshadow looks alot better.
Go into the store and ask for a demonstration! They'd be happy to show you!
Just be prepared to buy something - those girls work on commission - and its kind of rude not to buy something after they've helped you out so much.
Visit the MAC make up counter. If you are in Chicago I have a friend that is an excellent make up artist and she uses their products. $45.00- $50.00 depending on the look that you want will get you an in depth application class. Don't let the artist at the counter sell you a bunch of products that you don't need however. Remember that you can buy a make up kit in the store with cheaper brushes. Start by applying the light color on the lid (go just a little over the crease line with this color) Go back and shade with the darker color in the middle and a light high lighter in the arch area of the eye brow. Blend at the areas where your colors begin quite carefully. Start lighter because you can always add more. Believe it or not you will become a pro with practice. HAVE FUN!
im a beauty thearpist and have friends that work in mac go to the mac website and there is pictures of different heads with the different makeup styles on them and the exact mac colours and products they use. thats what my friend at the counter in mac said she used to use they have all those pics in folders just stay practisin
You have to go to beauty school, and go through a training like a normal beautician would. Once you get your license as a make-up artist you can try applying with them, plus if you go to the MAC store you can ask the girls at the counter what the process is. MAC only hires licensed make-up artists.
Go get a makeup application at a department store counter. I believe MAC charges now, but if you don't want to pay for it, different counters sometimes run promotions that include free makeovers. Some salons also offer makeup lessons, for a price, of course! If you live near a Sephora store, you can get advice from a salesperson there as well.
go to like those ppl in dillards and foleys that do your make up for u... u have to pay, but they are very good.. also just ask ur friends or mom to help... after u learn, doing it for a longer time will give you more experience and your make up will look better.
also seventeen magazine has good tips.. look at teen magazines, and fashion/make up magazines..make money

How do I show my younger sister how to do her makeup?
My sister is 12 years old, she will be 13 next month and she has told me and my mom that she would like to start wearing makeup. I think she's already cute but I feel like its a self confidence issue to her. I would like to show her how to do her makeup without making her look 'skanky' or anything. I don't wear any makeup myself but I have before and I'm familiar with it. Any suggestions? How do I show my younger sister how to do her makeup?
Well you can get her an eyeliner, mascara, natural eyeshadow, concealer, and either blush/bronzer. Watch some youtube makeup videos. (Juicystar07, Allthatglitters21, DulceCandy87, MichellePhan, makeupblogger... ect) That's what I did when I started using makeup around that age.
Hope I helped :)How do I show my younger sister how to do her makeup?
iknow how you feel but um
if you just show her how to wear
mascara, lip gloss, and eyeliner
that would be great. and if she says
'i want more' you should probably
say'less is better' too much can ruin
your inner beautiness and plus those are the
only things you need for a daily basis.
if you want to make it a special occasion,
put some blush and eyeshadow on.!!!
also i love your pic!! the shark lmao
also also wear neutral colors not anything too
pooping if you know what i mean!!!!~!!
youtube tutorials are great. tell her to stick to neutral colors and remind her that the key to makeup is to enhance your appearance without looking as if you put any on. and warn her that if she ever feels she can't go out without makeup on, she should take a break from it. putting it on should be a choice, not an obligation.
Go to a drugstore and buy some samples for her. Like two colors of eyeshadow, one pencil eyeliner, one mascara, one lipgloss. Read online about a few techniques of applying makeup and show her how on your own face. Make sure the colors are light, examples are silver, gold, light brown, light blue, white, pink...no dark blues, purples, or blacks undtil she gets a little older.
well she is going to start wearing it anyways so i would just show she a clean simple look! make sure she know never to put makeup on a dirty face and things!
just have her start off with a little bit of mascara and lipgloss and maybe some coverup or foundation if she has pimples or anything.

The girl above me has it ALMOST right.
The ';u'; in Trucco is not like the ';OO'; in good, but more like the ';OO'; in pool.
The accent (emphasis) is on the U in the word trucco. How to pronounce makeup in Italian?
trr.OO.kko
T- is not like the sound ';tch'; that English use, is more strong smtn like a ';td';.
R- a strong sound like a double-double R.
U (OO)- like gOOd.
C (K)- like a ';k'; in this case it is double so it is a quite strong sound.
O- like mOre.
BTW-makeup is a synonymous, we use both forms, the Italian one maybe is still more popular, but in this last years the English form circulates a lot.
like true but t and r are seprate...roll the ';r'; and add a coh

How to apply makeup to dark skin?
I know there are a lot of the - 'how to apply makeup' questions, but the answers only seem to have the shades. I am black, so I use colors like black, bronze, gold and red.
Can you please tell me how to put on eye makeup, for different effects? And what other colours might suit me?

Its the same for us as it is for everyone else the only difference is to make sure the colors have enough pigment in them to show on our skin as you don't want o appear ashy. I have just the link for you. This girl is amazing and she really helps. Good Luck :-). Check out all of her videos.

Foundation and Blush
In some cases, makeup itself can be protective. Many foundations come with sunscreen, but some people prefer it plain and simple. Either way, foundation can be a nice layer between your skin and the pollution, pollen, and other irritants outside.
You should choose a foundation that not only matches the lightness or darkness of your skin, but its undertones as well. When people talk about whether someone has cool or warm color, or whether they are a winter or summer color, they are talking about which range of colors works best with the person's undertones, not just how dark or light brown it is.
What this means specifically for women of color is that even though almost all of us, by virtue of being brown, have some yellow in our skin color, some of us have more red or bluish undertones overriding the yellow, and some of us have a more bronze or golden undertone. Some people even look a bit greenish in the right light.

How do you apply makeup to look like the people in magazines eyeshadow mainly how do you wear eyeliner?
is it better to wear eyeliner on the top and bottomHow do you apply makeup to look like the people in magazines eyeshadow mainly how do you wear eyeliner?
Eyeliner can be one of the trickiest things to use, but when applied properly the effects can be amazing. Most people use an eyeliner pencil because they think is will be easier, but with a bit of practice, liquid eyeliner can be used successfully too, so that either way you end up with a nice straight line.
Eyeliner Application
Before you begin applying the eyeliner, there are a few things you should do; firstly, apply any other eye makeup you want to use before adding eye liner and mascara. It may also be helpful if you remove dangly bracelets and watches as they can often get in the way or just become irritating distractions. Make sure you have a good mirror and lighting so that you can properly see what you are doing when using the eyeliner.
Eyeliner Pencil
1. The eyeliner pencil should be able to draw a thin, unbroken line along your skin - test it on your hand or arm first. Either sharpen it until the line is thin enough, or if it is too thin, draw a line on a tissue, which will make the tip blunter.
2. You should hold the eyeliner pencil as you would hold a pencil or pen to write with, usually with your dominant hand. Use your other hand to stretch the eye you are going to line from the outer corner. You can rest your hand holding the pencil against the hand pulling your lid taut.
3. Don't try to focus on your whole eye lid at one time - just look at the part you are drawing on. The line should be just above your eye lashes on the top lid and just below on the bottom, and should extend just to the outer corner of your eye.
4. Be wary if your eyeliner pencil tip is quite dry, as this may pull at delicate eye tissue. Draw the line with care if this is the case.
Liquid Eyeliner
1. Liquid eyeliner comes in a bottle rather like ink, and you must use a separate brush to apply. The best result will come from a point liner brush.
2. It is natural to close your eye as you draw the line, but if you keep it open, it will actually make it easier to follow the curve of your lid and thus have a straighter line.
3. You do not need to try and paint a continuous line with liquid eyeliner. It is actually easier to pain a few small dashes onto the lash line, eg. Inner corner, middle and outer corner, then go back and connect them.
4. If you want a thicker line than this initial thin one, build it up gradually. Start at the middle of the lash line and draw towards the outer corner. You can extend the line slightly past the outer corner of your eyelid if you wish.
Common Eyeliner Mistakes:
If you do make a mistake while applying liner in either pencil or liquid form, then it is easily corrected - just keep some eye makeup remover close to hand, and gently dab at the area you wish to remove with a small amount on the end.How do you apply makeup to look like the people in magazines eyeshadow mainly how do you wear eyeliner?

eyeliner from centre to outside on top lid and just lesson the bottom. if you have quite Small eyes where it under your eyelashes on the bottom. unless you have dark skin don't use black. I am dark blond and I use dark brown or grey. blend the edges in too, makes it look better. As for eyeshadow, cover the whole area underneath your eyebrow in a light shade, nothing too noticeable just to lift the area. then apply your chosen colour over it but don't go above the crease above you're eye. If you go to a beauty counter they sometimes teach, I used to work for the body shop, try one of their shops, they are very good.
Go to http://www.marykay.com/daryn_anderson and click on Application Tips. Select eye apllication and then choose the set of eyes that best match yours. It will give you step by step instructions on how to apply it. I use eyeliner in both places, but only to make my eyes stand out more.
go to the mall and ask a make up counter girl and ask if she could show you (sorry i cant tell you but it's kindof hard to explain)
